Hi @crazygirlcarly - Welcome to this very helpful & supportive community. I'm sorry to read you don't have any nearby friends. Perhaps looking at groups whom you might share an interest with might be helpful. You could ask your GP if they do what's called Social Prescribing to see if there are any options near you. There's also the Stroke Association which may be helpful: https://www.stroke.org.uk/ which also has local support, clubs & groups.

And the Befriending Network might have some suitable groups for you: https://befriending.co.uk which helps people of all ages.
