WestHam06 said:Hi @Adrian_Scope,
Thank you for sorting the badge, greatly appreciate it. My thoughts on how on the competition could work are; someone (perhaps we could take it in turns) posts what the games are over the two days the day before (so for Tues/Wed games- Monday and Sat/Sun games- Sunday) then people can choose the games they want to guest, though to maximise points all would make sense. All guests must be made prior to kick off. For each correct score, the individual gains a point. I think then there are two options either we all keep our own scores and then say at the end of the season or we make a table and update it on a weekly basis. Please let me know if you have any thoughts. Thank you.Community Manager

Hi @Adrian_Scope,
Completely fair enough, that is the option I would have gone for I think we should just be able to put the table on a post to show everybody each time it is updated. Also, I have already thought, maybe we just need to list the 10 fixtures and then update when they have all been played as the games are all different days, if that's ok. Next Monday, I'll list the two games in hand that are going to be played on Wednesday 17th and then we can go from there, see how many respond and see how it works. Please let me know your thoughts on this. Thank you.

Definitely. If you make a new thread (perhaps for each batch of fixtures) and a separate one for the table that might help keep things clear? Just a thought. It's up to you!Community Manager

Hi @Tractorgirlali,
I too was saddened to hear that Leagues 1 and 2 were drawing to a close but even more saddened and concerned for the future of many of these clubs. Many of them rely on ticket sales to pay wages and without fans at the ground how are they going to generate the money. Also, as we don't know when fans can get back in the stands it's unclear as to when the clubs can get back to football. Many of them have furloughed players and staff and if they bring them back for training it is classed as work so they can no longer furlough them. If they can't furlough them they will have to pay them, but with very little money coming in how are they suppose to do this. I hope they can resolve this as to lose some of these clubs would be catastrophic, they make football and without them it won't be the same. They make communities and some of the best grounds I been too are the ones in the lower leagues. I think teams in the Premiership should be helping out teams in the lower divisions, imagine the FA cup without a giant knock out! Thank you.

I Agree with u on that , that p l clubs should help out lower leagues They r quick to pinch r home grown good players ?

Hi @Stayce,
Welcome to the thread and thank you for joining us. It is always great to have another football fan to join in the conversation Thank you.

Hi all,
Hope this finds you all well, I just wanted to update you on our football competition. We will be guessing the scores of all the remaining Premier league games and whoever guesses the most correct scores will be crowned the winner (hopefully receiving a special community badge, we will see- thank you to @Adrian_Scope for supporting with this)
How it will work- Each set of fixtures will be put on a separate discussion a couple of days before they are due to play so do look out for them in the Coffee lounge. All guess must be made before kick-off. Then after all the games in that set of fixtures have been played, we will count up everyone's guesses, with a point for each correct guess and then create a table showing how many points (if any) each of us have This table will also be in a separate discussion in the Coffee lounge and updated each week. Obviously, you can guess on as many or as few as you wish too but the more you guess on the more chances of gaining points. I hope that this makes sense and please do ask any questions you may have on this. If you would like to join in, please do, it's just a bit of fun and we hope you enjoy. Look out for the games in hand fixtures tomorrow. Thank you
