@66MustangI go through bottles of hand sanitizer and anti bacterial wipes when I wipe my shopping especially because of Covid 19.1

Thanks for the reply @RAwarrior, yes I agree this community is really supportive and helpful in many different ways

People who use other people’s Blue Badges.
Getting abuse from people in supermarkets because I am too slow at the checkout.
Bullies in the workplace who bully disabled staff and then it is covered up by management who would rather protect the bully at all costs.
Cyclists who are not supposed to cycle in the park then expect disabled people to get out of the way.
People who don’t social distance.
Talking down to disabled people.
Queue jumping.
People suggesting wonder diets to cure someone.
People telling me I don’t look sick.
The long term effects workplace bullying has on disabled staff including PTSD as we already have enough to deal with without being bullied.
People ignoring the lockdown.
Getting nasty comments from work colleagues because I have been shielding.
Being made to feel worthless because I am disabled.
The government pausing shielding before it is safe.
Disabled people being forced back to work when it is not safe.
Not getting any response from my MP.0 -

Employers who really don’t want to make reasonable adjustments and make you feel like you are a nuisance when you actually need certain pieces of equipment to do your job ?1
-
Escalators that try and catch you out by having the hand rail moving at a different speed to the stairs...life is hard enough...lol1

My Nectar card didn’t scan in Sainsbury’s today. I tried for a good 60 seconds to get it to scan at the self checkout! I was only getting £5 worth of items so lost out on £0.05 of nectar points. Not the end of the world but I like to look after the pennies and feel cheated that I didn’t get my points!0

I know I am covered by the Equality Act 2010 because of my Rheumatoid Arthritis so why does the law not apply to me because my employer just ignores it?It is so frustrating that we have a law in place which is supposed to protect disabled people when in reality it means nothing in my case?1

People who just don’t listen to the problem because they don’t want to and see disabled people as a nuisance?1
-
The energy both physical and mental for some disabled people to get what they need to work and I actually think some people rely on the disabled person running out of the energy they need because they are having to fight for the basics and they hope that the person will give up and not bother asking for what they need?

Employers who regard disabled staff as a weakness and would rather get rid of them instead of trying to help them at work.
Many disabled people are more productive than people without disabilities but there is still a stigma attached to disabled people?
In my case the employer went all out to protect a known and serial bully instead of protecting me?0 -
Employers who protect bullies?0

Employers who quote equality policies but don’t put them into practice?0
