I'm shattered @SueHeath,I woke up at 3 o'clock and it must have taken me the best part of four hours to nod off again.

Are you up to anything exciting today?

I'll probably crack on with the ironing I said I was going to do on Friday and I still need to clean our son's room.

I struggle to sleep during the day unless I'm ill,I'll have to make do with an early night.

    Good morning everybody.

I am back from my break now. It was really really good. We saw a lot of some family friends who are really lovely people. I got quite tired during the days, because I am not used to doing much - my day usually consists of walking the dog and occasionally going to the shop but we were active from 9am till 9pm!!!

I found the trip was extremely good for my spirits and well being. My parents treated me to the break because it was my birthday and I didn't have to pay anything (except for the treats I purchased while there) so I want to go for another break in the new year and I will return the treat. Partly for selfish reasons because the trip did so much for my mental health.

@Teddybear12 that sounds like a pain, but that is decent of them to give you a goodwill gesture - the way the prices are going that £15 should be enough to make a cup of tea.

@Teddybear12 Thank you. No we didn't take the dog, my brother (whose dog it is really) and his girlfriend stayed at the house and looked after him. :) I hope you have a nice day today. :)

I'm making a curry today just cut up the onions tomatoes and garlic at the table, got the whole spices ready on a chopping board and the powdered spices. So I've only got to tip in the pan later. I can sit down inbetween the stages.

That's cooking now can rest again. There's a certain supermarket doing 2 for 15 on toys if you want to know who message me so I'm not advertising. But it's great offer if you need toys
