We have a lovely breeze coming through the windows, not sure if the storms forcast will appear0
-
How is everyone doing this evening? Any news from last night?0
-
Not too bad thanks @durhamjaide2001.
How are you?
I don't think you missed anything exciting, apart from lots of complaints about the heat.0 -
Just thought I’d say hi 👋 I recently returned to the forum. Hope everyone’s doing ok and have had a nice day and have a lovely evening 😊 I didn’t do all that much due to the heavy rain and thunder but I went out at lunchtime for a short walk when it had eased off. Going to relax now with a cuppa and watch something on my iPad before bed.

-
Good morning @Sandy_123, that's a shame about the dentist.0
-
Morning @66Mustang it is but saved me trekking down there. What you up to today0
-
@Sandy_123 at least you can see the positives, not sure what I am doing yet! Maybe an easy day0
-
Hi @66Mustang @Sandy_123 it's another bright day here today and I'm currently reading my book while my washing is drying not sure what I'm doing for the rest of the day.0
-
Good morning! Did anyone sleep over the weekend?
Was so humid!

Morning @c_j it's nice n cool here with a good breeze, it's so much better. Was awful the weekend @Hannah_Scope for sleeping. Easy day sounds good @66Mustang0
-
I really enjoyed the heat, I think summer is over now0
-
@Sandy_123 I don't know how people do it
I'd live in an igloo lol

@Hannah_Scope I was going to say if your profile picture is anything to go by you must have to be really careful in the sun with your very fair skin tone but not sure if that’s allowed because you couldn’t comment on a person with dark skin colour? Sorry if I caused offence though!0
-
@66Mustang No you are right I am very pale. I wasn't allowed to go into the sun for best part of a decade because of medications I was on.
Ironically as a kid when I would go to Spain to visit family, I used to tan so easily. I was mistaken for being Spanish many times. Now, I am very protective because of my health but also because I don't know if I would now burn easily, and don't want to find out!0 -
Morning all, welcome back to the community @Marie88
I am also very glad it's cooling down. I cannot stand the hot weather nor the sun. I certainly have to be careful about my skin burning @66Mustang!
While summer may be over it looks like it'll be a nice 20C for the next few weeks.0
