Morning, how's your day going so far?

@Hannah_Scope oh that makes sense. Wow, that must have taken some willpower to stay out of the sun for 10 years. I think you are wise not wanting to find out if you’d burn now though!! Better safe than sorry!
I don’t tan at all even if I sit in the sun for hours. I’m not very dark skinned but I think I have a small amount of Mediterranean blood - maybe 1/4 or 1/8.0 -
Just to add r.e tanning really easily my Mum is a little dark skinned more than me - still white though - and tans really easily which is weird seeing as I don’t. She has been to Africa and was mistaken for being a local more than once!!!!0

I know from childhood experience that I do not tan, let's just say that. If the sun's out I'm slapping on the highest SPF I can find0
-
I burn in the sun as I'm very pale also. But I've noticed my arms are brown every summer now. Weird.0

I cancelled my Friday appointment @Sandy_123 because I was busy. That would normally mean waiting three months for another appointment but they offered me one this morning.0

My brother's birthday is today. He is coming round soon to pick up his presents.
I got him a £25 gift card for H&M which is apparently a good clothes store.
He also is getting, from other relatives, fifty grand. Sadly it's not pounds. It's Hungarian Forints which trade at about 450 to the pound so just over 100 pounds.
PS yes he is going to Hungary, we didn't buy them for no reason.1 -
Sounds like when I gave a friend of mine 1000 roubles as he was going to visit family in Russia (this was back in 2011). He was saying "oh this is too much, too much, I can't" until he realised it was roubles and worth about twenty quid at the time.1

Ha ha @Jimm_Scope
I did similar for my Mum when she went to Africa, getting her a huge wedge of banknotes that if it was pounds you could retire on. Each note was worth less than 2 pence. It sort of makes me wonder whether some notes are even worth printing?0 -
Another funny story from Africa, well not funny at the time, my Mum injured her arm and had to go to a hospital, who wouldn't commence treatment until they were paid in full, in cash. There was literally a bin bag full of money, was around £1,000. Reimbursed by insurance fortunately.

A friend of ours was taken ill while on holiday in Mexico, she had armed guards sitting next to her bed in case she took off without paying for her treatment.0

Gosh can you imagine if uk did that
Its raining heavy here it's lovely still muggy tho0 -
Evening everyone I hope yous are having a nice night.
Oh some country’s are so strict about paying upfront before they will even touch you.
My mum went for her appointment with the consultant today regarding results of her cancer treatment, they didn’t have the results, it’s a shame she was all worked up about going to.Don’t know how long till they will be available.
