    @SueHeath I have tried few things from gino range the aubergine parmigiana was lovely but I was disappointed with the bolognese ragu sauce

    Cumberland Sausages, Bacon and Eggs and a Yoghurt. Also bought some Tizer for the first time in ages yesterday.

    Yes Teddy Bear. Look for the Barr brand. It's a bit like Alpine of old They also do Shandy, Dandelion and Burdock, Limeade, Iron Brew, Cream Soda, Raspberryade and of course Lemonade. Maybe Ginger Beer as well.

    That takes me back too, we used to go to the local shop and buy 3 of those cans with our £1 pocket money because they were only 33p at the time. Whenever I come across those cans now, the price seems to have risen by a few pence every time.

    Fish and chips for us tonight, for the first time since pre-pandemic. Can't wait to head out and get them!

    @GeoffN @SueHeath @Ross_Scope I always come across the Barrs Cream soda canned drinks on Amazon as I have the app and I always think about buying some because of the ice cream taste they have. They sell them in bulk and work out as 29p per can according to their listing (£7 for 24 cans at the moment). They are not like any other drink I have ever tried lol 😋

    Interesting. But don't tempt me with 24 cans. You can get bottles for £1. Also in Birmingham we have Perry Barr and Great Barr. I study Accounts and I had to explain to the class what Bulk Discount was last Friday !

    I spent a few days at Edgbaston last year to watch Cricket 🏏 Lots of people lost drinks cans at the entrance because the rule is plastic only.

    Thanks for the reminder of drinks from the past - i doubt i could drink them now ha ha

    Plaice and chips you know thats the second time i've been reminded of that GeoffN i used to love it - have not had it for ages. i will have to remember to put it on my shopping list,

    It's a bit weird, but I'm having chicken in a beef stroganoff sauce, with rice. It actually works really nicely!

    All your food items sound very delicious! Last night I had turkey, mashed potato, vegetables and gravy. Yet to find out what is on tonight's menu  :D
