    Well after having my eyes done my son picked me up and there is a nice chippy near by, so we had fish n chips

    Not posted here for a few days.
    Friday had Domino's, yesterday wasn't too hungry so only had a chip sandwich and today I am having a Roast Chicken dinner. Got a Syrup Sponge for pudding.

    mmmm sounds nice but i wish you wouldn't post your delicious puds - syrup sponge pudding with custard mmm

    We've got a nice roast beef dinner, roast parsnips, cabbage and carrots a couple of roast potatoes and gravy mmmm no pud though boo hoo

    @Tori_Scope it was absolutely delicious 😋. I think it had breadcrumbs on the top of it. I got it from Iceland yesterday with a family member on special offer 2 for £5

    From January wehave been trying to cut back our food budget to just 1 pound per person per day. Price rises have made it hard but I have been amazed at what I could get and ashamed at what I used to spend, especially on takeaways!! 

    I don’t know which meal would considered tea but my hot meals today are lentil soup with croutons and cashew couscous 🤤 yum

    We popped out to shops and Costa then picked up a vegatarian pizza on way home

    Cottage pie really enjoyed it and I've got a naughty cream cake to have with a cuppa for afters
