    ooooh lovely sounds very tasty. I've bought some ready puff pastry and some beef and gonna make a pie and mushrooms with cream hopefully for mum in the week, lovely to be able to cook at last...hope you enjoyed it x

    Just had sandwich didn't get anything out as shopping was coming this afternoon  

    But having to spend afternoon in a&e with toby had to cancel shopping to come later tonight

    It took 6 weeks last time but was walking about with brace br then 

    They referred for mri scan as its 2nd time and could need surgery

    Hopefully not surgery @janer1967 and hope Toby has a speedy recovery!

    I had omlette and chips for my dinner this evening, not exciting, but still good to have :)

    Love leftover lasagne and stew the best thinkl they so much tastier with time to marinate

    @Teddybear12 not sure when you put that but placement is brilliant looking forward to working with children and families for first time they say il be brilliant met some wonderful colleagues lovely place but the taxis service has been dreadful they've been late every day and complaining been fruitless

    Yes he in a lot if pain he off school at min as not weight beating unless has to . Got consultant appt on Monday will see after that 

    Hoping to arrange for school to pick him up as if a long walk there which he won't manage

    Now I want cheeseburgers and onion rings and a barbecue! I love this thread but it makes me so hungry and jealous.
    @janer1967 do you make the burgers from scratch or are the ready made?
    What do you have from a barbecue @66Mustang?

    We just have the usual burgers, sausages and chicken and maybe some pork belly :yum: and occasionally steak!!!

    I’m nervous though as an elderly relative is coming around for the next 4 nights who often gets irritable at the smallest things and I find the any kind of conflict really sets off my anxiety.

    They are often better after a (alcoholic) drink so I hope they have one :D

    That's one thing I'd love in 4h8s wether a barbecue to cook pork belly and steak on hmmmm
