I often steam it in my steamer or bake it in paper with some peppers and onions and cherry tomatoes and bit of butter and lemon and herbs

@sandy_123 my child hood memories we use to.come home for lunch time my mum twice a week make home made chips nice and brown and crispy but they don't taste the way my mum use to make them. Mum cooking are the best as they say0

@berry123 I think its because they used animal fats, where as I use vegetable oil and wouldn't buy animal fats to cook with, thats the difference in taste.
If your around same age as me, moms did lots of cooking from scratch, we didn't have a fridge or freezer until later on, when processed foods hit the market.
