I still haven’t received my decision yet, coming up to 3 weeks since I had my assessment, I’m hoping I’ll get it soon, so I can make a MR if I’m unsuccessful.

There are huge backlogs and the time it's taking to make a decision means nothing at all. Waiting times are between 2-12 weeks.

Well today I received a letter saying, We now have all the information we need to make a Decision, I’m guessing it shouldn’t be too long.

It’s just another pointless letter they send out. Even after this it can still take anything up to 12 weeks.

I’m guessing they sometimes send this and sometimes don’t, As I did not receive this last time I applied for pip.

Well today.. I received my decision letter, And to my surprise I have been awarded pip, Enhanced Daily Living and Standard mobility, I’m shocked after I read the assessors report.

That's great news. Just goes to show that they don't always go with the report, especially if you added those real world examples on your form. Asking for the report does indeed cause more anxiety that is really needed.

I was surprised at the decision, The DM usually goes with the assessment report, Rather rare for them to go against it.

Just goes to show you never know until the DM's decision is made!
