Hello this is my first time claiming pip had my assesment 2 week ago i was wondering how long it takes for a decission im very anxious not sure what to expect thanks

    Hi,

    Between 2-12 weeks for a decision because backlogs are huge in a lot of areas. If successfully awarded, any backdated money owed is usually received before the decision letter.

    Hi @Zoe84 Welcome to the Community. If you can it is best not to dwell on the timescale. With the pandemic everything is taking much longer. Take care.
