Hi all.
I'm Lindsay, or Linz to most, (especially online, because I know what a headache my name is to spell ), and I never know what to put in these introduction threads. I have loads of hobbies - reading, writing, needlework, puzzles/puzzle games and am learning French and Spanish. I have 2 dogs.
I came across your forum last year, when the excrement really hit the fan and have been lurking on and off ever since. I joined up yesterday because my mind is, and has been, in turmoil, but I'll leave that for its own thread, because it's going to be a long, long post (I apologist in advance).
And that's about it. Look forward to seeing you all on the boards, and getting to know you.

Hi Libby, thank you for the welcome.
Yes, I've got a few hobbies. I forgot to mention papercraft, too, which I've recently got back into.
Books: I read anything but horror, to be honest. I'm reading a Sci-Fi book "The Abyss Beyond Dreams" at the moment.
I've posted my problems in another thread in Rare, Invisible and Undiagnosed Conditions. I'm not as bad today, so I think a lot of it is down to sleep deprivation, and letting it build up.0 -
A warm welcome to the community from me too @LCB1012
As you've mentioned enjoying reading, I'm wondering whether you'd be interested in one of our volunteer's idea for a community book club?
I enjoy puzzles too. Sudoku and killer sudoku are my favourite, but I enjoy some word ones too. Have you been doing the daily Wordle?
Papercraft sounds interesting! What kind of things do you make? If you'd like to share your creative arts and crafts, then please do head over to our KaleidoScope thread1 -

Yeah, I'd be interested in a book club.
I'm hopeless at Sudoku, never mind killer sudoku. I'm into logic and word puzzles mainly.
Everyone seems to be raging about Wordl. I'll have to try it sometime.
As for papercraft, it's really cardmaking.0 -
Here's a link to Wordle, you can play it through the New York Times Do you do crosswords? I'm not as good at those, but I still enjoy them. I'd like to learn how to do cryptic crosswords properly at some point. I can sometimes do them, but it's hard to pick up on all of the clues!1
