Hi,Great news. After a Tribunal win it can take anything up to 8 weeks, sometimes longer for your PIP award to be put into payment and money owed to be paid.2

Thankyou guys really means alot. Fingers crossed its before 8 weeks.1

Fab, well done @Kdot1994 I hope you've been able to relax since hearing about the positive result?
Fingers crossed it won't be too long until you receive your payment. Please do keep us updated if you can!0 -

Well done for winning at tribunal. You must be so relieved.
If you don't mind sharing your journey. How long it took?,
was it face to face, paper based or over the phone?
How did you find it?
What information/evidence did you submit?
I would really appreciate it. I understand your probably not thinking of this as your happy you won. But it may help
Thank you3 -
They rang me the next day and my back pay will be in my account 8 days later and normal payment starts a 3 weeks later.1

Usually that's what they ask before paying what you're owed so it shouldn't be too long now. Once it's paid you'll receive it into your bank etween 3-5 working days. The decision letter will follow shortly after that.

Hi, I had my PIP tribunal on 23/08/2022, Still awaiting to hear from PIP for the backdated money and new award.
My advice to anyone who applys for PIP, Tribunals ect is not to give up.
I sent in over 30 pages of evidence for my Tribunal hearing and the hearing lasted less then 10 minutes.
It may seem a long process but it is worth appealing as 73% of claims are overturned in tribunal.
How long have people had to wait from tribunal before getting a call from PIP saying about new award ect?
I look forward to responses and am here to advise anyone if they are in doubt with appeals.1 -
Has anyone had an email from DWP PIP before as I am concerned with the speed of postal deliveries due to the strikes0

After a Tribunal win it can take around 8 weeks, sometimes longer to put your award into payment and pay you what they owe you. Before they do this they will contact you to ask if you've been in hospital or prison. Once that is done shortly after they'll pay what is owed. They do also have the same chance we do to appeal the decision. Before doing this they need to request the statement of reasons from HMCTS. Once they receive this they have to find the error in law before they can go any further. They sometimes request the SOR but rarely appeal it.1

Yeah the tribunal seem to have included the SOR in the letter anyway.
The lengthy delays by DWP is unacceptable to be honest, this has been mentioned many times in parliament, about time the government done more to help people not wait this long.1 -
That wouldn't have been the SOR, it would have been the decision letter. The SOR would go into more detail and they don't usually include in with the decision letter because the Judge doesn't write it unless it's requested because of the extra work it involves. You only had your Tribunal on 23rd and there was a bank holiday weekend since then so you haven't waited that long after the decision, today is only the 5th working day.0

I have been awarded pip at the standard rate for both and it’s getting backdated to 21st June 2021 how long did everyone wait until payment after tribuneral?1
