Hi I’m ConfusedNewt /waves

I already wrote this out before but somehow it disappeared, I thought about trying again tomorrow as  I am on a low spoon/high pain day but still wanted to introduce myself and say hello.

I am happy to finally find somewhere where I don’t have to mask my disabilities and illnesses and can speak to other people like myself with shared health/life experiences as myself, as trying to tackle it alone is quite scary and incredibly heavy to carry as I don’t have many friends nearby.

I’ve been housebound up north for quite some time, and we’re not 100% sure what’s affecting my mobility decline at the moment.  I am glad to know this wonderful site existed and to find a community now, because it’s been very isolating.

When I am well, I am an artist and generally creative person who loves nature, playing video games, reading and watching movies.

Hi @confusednewt there's definatly alot of us to natter to, about all sorts of topics. I see your a lover of art, what kinds of art do you like to do? There is a thread in coffee lounge, where people share their art, by posting pictures of it, some great talent on that thread.
Its a shame you havnt got to the bottom of your mobility problems yet, hopefully you will soon.

Hello and welcome to the community @confusednewt thanks so much for joining and for sharing how this makes you feel, that's lovely.

If you haven't already explored the forum, here's a few of the best places to get started:

    • Recent discussions is where you'll find all the latest conversations our members are having
    • The categories page shows all the different topics for discussion
    • The virtual coffee lounge is a place to chat, get to know other members, and play games too

What kind of video games do you like playing? :) And if you're interested, the thread Sandy has mentioned is the KaleiodoScope gallery, do have a look if you can.

I hope this community can act as a place of support for you, and please don't hesitate to reach out of you need anything.

Thankyou @Sandy_123 for welcoming me :)
I am currently interested in textiles, printmaking and ceramics but also illustration.
I find art has always been a stable thing throughout my life which helps me manage my mental health and disabilities. I will have a look at the gallery and coffee lounge!
