Hi I’m ConfusedNewt /waves
I already wrote this out before but somehow it disappeared, I thought about trying again tomorrow as I am on a low spoon/high pain day but still wanted to introduce myself and say hello.
I am happy to finally find somewhere where I don’t have to mask my disabilities and illnesses and can speak to other people like myself with shared health/life experiences as myself, as trying to tackle it alone is quite scary and incredibly heavy to carry as I don’t have many friends nearby.

I’ve been housebound up north for quite some time, and we’re not 100% sure what’s affecting my mobility decline at the moment. I am glad to know this wonderful site existed and to find a community now, because it’s been very isolating.
When I am well, I am an artist and generally creative person who loves nature, playing video games, reading and watching movies.

Hi @confusednewt there's definatly alot of us to natter to, about all sorts of topics. I see your a lover of art, what kinds of art do you like to do? There is a thread in coffee lounge, where people share their art, by posting pictures of it, some great talent on that thread.
Its a shame you havnt got to the bottom of your mobility problems yet, hopefully you will soon.1 -
Hello and welcome to the community @confusednewt thanks so much for joining and for sharing how this makes you feel, that's lovely.
If you haven't already explored the forum, here's a few of the best places to get started:
- Recent discussions is where you'll find all the latest conversations our members are having
- The categories page shows all the different topics for discussion
- The virtual coffee lounge is a place to chat, get to know other members, and play games too
What kind of video games do you like playing? And if you're interested, the thread Sandy has mentioned is the KaleiodoScope gallery, do have a look if you can.
I hope this community can act as a place of support for you, and please don't hesitate to reach out of you need anything.
