I read that Scotland doesn't get PIP but I get LWCRA. Does anyone know what will happen in Scotland are they going to be able to make their own decisions in terms of any changes? Does anyone know where to find the points I was awarded for the LWCRA uc50 form? Thanks.

Hi, Can someone explain the legacy Esa and ns Esa bit, as I'm confused. I moved from incapacity benefit to cb Esa only around 2019 so what kind of Esa am I? Also any info on what happens with people still on dla?

They are thinking that they save money either way - either you go to work, or you die. Either is acceptable to them.

Can someone explain this to me. So if you get PIP, you will still get LCWRA, right? And the PIP assessment will be all you need, you won't get an extra assessment for the LCWRA? But at the same time they are bringing in more frequent assessments for UC. If I get PIP and automatically qualify for LCWRA, will I still have to be assessed again for UC?

Forgot to say I have no uc or income related benefits, just cb Esa and dla

Tomorrow Charlie Anderson will be posting a video of the breakdown of the new benefit reforms. I know some don’t agree with her methods but she explains things clearly and I personally think the more information the better. I’ll post on here when the video is up for anyone interested. Hopefully we can all start to feel a little better today as we at least know more of what’s happening and be rest assured others who are on our side will be planning action to fight for us all x

new to here, been getting standard rate pip and high rate mobility since 2015 but only score 2 points on most of the descriptors, so with the changes would I not qualify as I don’t score 4 points on any of them, also I’m in the support group for contribution based esa since 2019 when I was given Ill health retirement from my job what going to happen to people in the support group is it being scrapped? Will they force me to look for work? I will loose every bit of income as have as I get ill health retirement pension from my previous NHS job
My pip is currently being reviewed on a soft touch review
Not slept a wink last night worried sick
Conflicting information online so if anyone can answer any of my questions would really appreciate it
Thanks

O.K., if I had power and influence over the community and every single disabled person in the Country receiving benefits, I would turn this around and say to the Government 'We all want an assessment' but you need to carry it out within the next 6 months'. We all send in a letter requesting the assessment with the time limit.

People would be afraid of losing their current benefit award 🤣
