Considering making a voluntary claim for PIP from current indefinite DLA award before November 2026 when the 4 point rule is due to be implemented and new UC “health premium” brought in which would be a massive cut from current LCWRA payments.
I’m guessing if I wait to be “invited” to claim PIP, I would become a new UC claimant and be therefore subject to the PIP 4 point rule and LCWRA cuts.
On the other hand doing so may well flag me to the department and trigger punitive reassessments straight away to prevent my intentions.
This is how conspiracy theories become reality!

If anyone can help.. I'm already on pip so does that mean I'll keep it although not sure what points I have.
?
Also I've not read anywhere this morning about the jsa esa merger. I'm on esa because of severe anxiety that had all my life so do I need to look for a job even though I can't? Help appreciated

When will the government stop lumping together the disabled and the unemployed? They clearly need different programs. Gov need to stop the current madness of "reforms" altogether and start all over again.
No money - stop spending it on foreign scams!5 -
She looks terrible. The perfect look to scare children.

To me I see it as if you get a good assessor who doesn’t want to stab you in the back you may be found severe enough so that exempts you from constant assessments. This frees up the assessors to give more frequent assessments to the rest of us even if our conditions don’t change or are likely to. Timms said this morning when asked if they’ll make any more cuts in future, you don’t know what will happen in 5 years . Well will do know the Labour Party will be finished by then but who will replace them that’s the thing .

that’s really interesting. Have they removed it ? Did you screenshot it by any chance? I wonder if anyone from scope can clarify this ?

Yes maybe, but watch the DWP / Gov responding to 3.6m people within 6 months would be fun, 'there is method in that madness'.
'Please, please stop writing to us, o.k. no assessments'.

and dwp staff on pip. I actually called Atos once and was requesting a phone assessment as recommended by dwp because of the stress of my previous one. The Atos call staff said of yes there’re not nice are they I have them too .

Morning. I probably will lose my pip. I guess it as good while it lasted. I am not sure. But this is very distressing. They should get the cuts somewhere else.. I assume they are mostly attacking people on pip. And some on UC.. right.. in any case this is really very distressing...

I'm really scared my highest in daily living was 3 now I'm far worse due to Myelopathy and Radiculopathy Stenosis and the list goes on! I can no longer dress and wash myself. I can't cook at all and need help to eat as I can't grip properly. My review is due from October this year as my award ends October 2026. I get standard mobility but as I can't be operated on and my Lumbar Stenosis is causing saddle anesthesia I'll end up in a wheelchair.
Without PIP I will not be able to afford any of the vital things I need!

hi yes I heard that said on Noam nyles channel but it just says they’re looking into it . It doesn’t mention the 4 point problem. That’s the thing that needs changing and obviously they’ll fight tooth and nail for that .
