Thank you, that’s helped me feel slightly less anxious, for now. I do hope these are watered down significantly and I keep trying to remember that this is a green paper.

Thanks, and it's very true, we have to stick together. This forum has been a God send for me and I'm sure it is for many other people.

    Thank you ❤️

It's been made harder as I discovered my GP and the Hospital hid a referral I should have had to a specialist Neurosciences Hospital in 2022!

I am guilty of not challenging the scores I received but was glad to get enhanced. I didn't want to 'poke the bear'.

Also the DWP never apologised for accusations that I had inherited all my mums money after she died. After an investigation we were found innocent but never contacted. We only found out during a routine call to UC. Disgusting!

The DWP and empathy do not go together

This is the first time that I have actually looked at my scoring from my PIP assessment, two years ago - up until now, I just saw the overall score (20) for Daily Living and 22 for mobility and for 10 years.

and was just grateful that I was to be given PIP -

But now – I can see 4 for preparing food and 4 for mixing with other people.

Totally ignoring the fact that I cannot get dressed on my own – Due to arthritis in my shoulders and also the fact that I have Parkinsons.

    Seems totally wrong to me.

My pip is due for reassessment Sept next year.

I scored 3 for bathing last time.

I thought I was elligeable for 4 and also higher scores for other daily living activities but I didn't challenge it as i was awarded high rate.

At my next reassessment form I will go into a lot more detail and get a more detailed supporting letter from my carer.

We have to fight this because our very existence depends on it.

I wouldn't trust this government as far as I could throw them. All we can do is push back on these proposals. Nearly everyone I've spoken to personally is going to be affected by these changes in one way or another.😔

Can anyone advise please, I get esa and pip, I'm unsure about the points thing I've no idea what I got or how to find out.

Is it the case that if been on esa and pip for a while nothing changes and the merger of esa jsa is just for new claimants? Is it all starting Nov 2026 and people seem to be worried when others say most of it won't go through because of the courts..

    Thanks

Hi, I would like some advice if possible about the 4 point system, I've looked at my recent award which I was granted for another 4 years from December just gone. I always thought I should have got 4 points minium for mixing with people but I got a 2. Now I have read the discriptor for this activity a bit more, which I should have done at first, but was soooo stressed! I surmised I could actually get the 8 points as I would have major panic attacks and self harm with mixing outside etc. I think my problem is I don't know how to write it down properly to explain how it affects me on adaily basis, so any advice would be very helpful and much appreciated for when I am next reveiwed, thanks.
