Please remember there are ppl who are already organising themselves in the fight back to this . This is just a green paper and we do have rights . Watch Ellen Clifford on YouTube her latest video states a plan of action including legal advice she is taking. Someone posted the link on here or you can find it in YouTube Ben claimant.

    Hi ,

I listened to Angela Rayner on bbc radio giving an interview regarding helping the disabled. Using her mum and son’s health conditions to drum up support. Insisting they want to help us and protect those that can’t work lead a dignified life and good standard of living. And where was she when demented Kendall told of all the cuts ? Sitting behind her nodding her head. I even read she voiced concerns about the cuts along with the others who did. Obviously she’s not ready to give up the gravy train. But was else can we expect from someone who buys her council house for profit only to want to ban others from buying theirs. None of the front bench have scruples or morals , that’s why Starmer chose them .

My name is Luke I am diagnosed with autism and one aspect of my condition is the fact that I ruminate and worry I used to receive a lifetime/indefinite DLA award when migration to PIP took place I was initially awarded zero points and had to attend a tribunal which awarded me daily living enhanced rate and mobility standard rate for an ongoing period the award letter said it was not appropriate to set a fixed term in this case as my condition is unlikely to change. The Green Paper does mention that ongoing awards are not going to be abolished but I am still anxious as I have read posts on here suggesting that when the new descriptors come in there is a possibility that they will want to reassess everyone including ongoing awards can anyone let me know what you think will happen just to put my mind at rest I do have 4 points btw on social communication but do you think it will be a violation of the Equality Act to remove the daily living component from me if they said my condition is not likely to change in the award letter? Just asking if anyone has an idea of what will happen with ongoing awards as there does not seem to be much info online or in the press about this I did feel better after reading the green paper yesterday mentioning that ongoing awards are to continue but recently I have been stressed again as I read a post on here last night suggesting that everyone will be reassessed like in the DLA to PIP migration anyway I have demanded a face to face meeting with my MP which I am expecting to get shortly and will put that question to her.

Looks like they want to send them to war with Russia. Because Ukrainians seem to be running out.

Hi! I'm talking about the parties and politicians you voted for. Did they do anything useful for you that you asked them to do?

did you contact him via his departmental email as a minister or as an MP? If you did the latter, that's why he (or one of his office stuff) responded that way.

sadly MPs will use the lack of constituency connectino as an excuse to ash their hands of people. Understandable when its a local, individual issues, not national ones like state-sanctioned murder of disabled people via benefit cuts.

there's always things people can do. it's called direct action and mutual aid on the streets and in our communities, not relying on politicians to save us. because they won't. same with petitions, letter writing campaigns and consultation responses.

People acting on our behalf will be fighting this tooth and nail.

Confirmation from Mr Bean(counter) they are going to revise all the descriptors is my worst nightmare. I expect mental health in any descriptor will get you maximum 2 points, but there's no sense panicking. We have no power to change this on our own, but we know many good people and charities will devote themselves to stopping as much of this as possible.

I've made plans if the worst happens like several of others. But I urge anyone thinking of doing anything stupid to please, please, please, see how this plays out. There is a longggggggg way to go before any of this becomes law. This is just the very first phase of the process now the green paper is published.

please don't off yourself. it's highly likely a court will find these cuts illegal and force the government to scrap them.

there is hope yet. do not give up.

No they haven't even decided on the changes to descriptors yet. They are conducting an internal review about how best to change them to achieve their goals.
