are they planning on changing the form questions itself ? I thought I read one of them (Timms?)say they’ll be looking at it years down the line after looking into the assessments ?

just watched kernowdamo on YouTube regarding two resignations, one from a MSP . He read his resignation letter to Starmer and it’s everything we’d love to say .

BBC news
Pip assessments involve questions about tasks like preparing and eating food, washing and getting dressed. Each is scored on a scale from zero - for no difficulty - to 12 - for the most severe - by a health professional.
For example, needing help to wash your hair or your body below the waist, would be awarded two points, but needing help to wash between the shoulders and waist would equate to four points
How on earth does this make sense!

So, the Navel and mid-scapula are now the criteria
Ooops! maybe it doesnt mean navel; but rather the mid shoulders down to waste🤔

Some of the questions on the form will change alongside the descriptors I would think. No point asking questions that are no longer relevant to scoring the assessment. But it's all guessing at the moment not even the government has got the answers yet.

If this is at all fortunate for me; its on record(all typed out in the assessment) that I couldn't place either arm behind my back🤔
That still doesnt mean they wont mess with me, but i'll be bringing that up in the coming renewal

It sounds crazy, doesn't it? It's all about giving the assessor the tools to limit your score by setting as many traps as possible.

last time I looked my head was above my shoulders so completely stupid. Though Someone did say maybe washing your back ? But as someone with fibromyalgia and cervical spondylitis plus tennis and golfer’s elbow pain changes all the time

in my experience last time assessor asked questions that would award 2 points only . I got my full points for an award but wouldn’t in those circumstances now . This was a couple of years ago and apparently common. Next time I’ll be more vigilant to their scam

Hi, i'm sorry to keep asking this but i posted yestarday and haven't noticed if i have had a reply. I am long term disabled with cerebral palsay. I am on CB ESA Support group and pip (NO UC). Does anyone know what will happen when my claim comes up for review. Will i move over to the suggested new time limited benefit? Thanks

Where have they said that the descriptors are changing?

I imagine some questions will have to incorporate the wca element otherwise surely discrimination

When are they starting these reassessments for LCWRA? It all seems a bit vague at moment with some saying it's for people who's circumstances may have changed since their last one, like pregnancy and those recovering from cancer, is this true as green paper is mind boggling!!

My pip is due for renewal Nov 26 so will I have to through the new assessment and will I need the 4 points?
My hubby as irESA support group and enhanced on both will help be ok if s gets the enhanced. We have to move by 7th June to UC

that's what it said on the green paper and then to move onto other people who are likely to have a change in award.

Whats so important between the shoulders and waist🤔😁

Hi all,
I currently receive the LCWRA payment as I meet one of the criteria for acceptance, I can't swallow food or drink and have a feeding tube which is permanent.
This was caused by Lymphoma in my neck/mouth, I've been in remission for about a year, but I'm still pretty smashed from the cancer, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and stem cell therapy.
Will I lose this payment if the proposed changes come in and everything is assessed via PIP?
I don't think I'd score 4 points on one descriptor, probably 1's and 2's throughout.
All very stressful and any info would be appreciated.
Warren
