Hi, how do you know if you are legacy esa or new style esa? I was changed to cb Esa around 2019 from long term incapacity benefit. Also does anyone know what is happening with indefinite dla to pip timeline now? Now I'm so stressed and worried I'm about to lose it all

You know, @Wibbles it might not be bad. A self-governing archipelago of our own.

If we are reassessed for lwcra will be under same criteria I'm the same noway I could go to job centre no way for some reason I feel calm was the same when sent pip form back I didn't even think of it and got paperbased goverments like to install terror I think they threw everything at the green paper in hope of some of it getting in speak to your sons doctor and say the effect its having on both your mental health I'm keeping a diary if it will be 3 years worth so be it they cannot do half of this it's very cruel I know exactly how you feel 2023 took me down I'm scared but not terrified wait till impact statement comes out 2 million people that's without thier cares thrown into poverty no way not happening they have broken all human rights thier proposals are wicked almost laughable I know it's hard it's really hard try not to over over think I say that because I do and it sends me down we are in the here and now these are proposals this has to go through stages and anyone can see it's a cost cutting discrimination at it's finest activists been dealing with DWP for years we have lawyers who are experts in welfare working along side charities unions the government been trying this for 30 years hold tight it's a rollercoaster but will be ok I really believe we will. I said that claimants are going to rely heavily on the social care system, NHS and charities due to the fall out of this. It will cost the government more money in the long run if these proposals go ahead.

I think he was being satirical. He wasn't being serious.

The media reporting, government and some political parties sitting in Westminster have been toxic towards disabled people.

Agreed. Anyone that votes Reform are voting for more of the same politics that got us here, whether they realise that or not. Just like Labour 2024 voters.

For disabled people who can't work, moving abroad won't be possible in the majority of cases. Unless things get so dire other countries start accepting British refugees, most disabled people who cant work are stuck here.

I anticipate a lot of younger disabled people who can work will look into leaving the UK as time goes on though. We have no future here. Same with older retirees.

Pretty much this. These benefit cut proposals - alongside cutting winter fuel allowances - is the beginning of the slow dcecline of the last Labour government in history.

He is trying to do some weird reverse psychology claiming its immoral to keep vulnerable people out of poverty and that high earning tax payers are somehow more in need.

Economists are now jumping in saying Reeve should be changing the fiscal rules to avoid the cuts, they have said "the uk cant cut its way to growth".
