For what it's worth I'm totally with you there. Im in exactly the same situation.

I haven't got anyone I could stay with.

I'm going into a Crohns flare now with all this stress. Meds are not working. I've been doing quite well last few months too ๐Ÿ˜ข I'll end up costing the NHS more now.

For what its worth I'm sending you a virtual hug ๐Ÿซ‚

What we need are Ministers to resign, we need Unions to say enough.

GMB without doubt are the only TV show really pushing this, Even Eagle has buckled

rumours, Grumblings are worthless. MP's and politicians within Scotland and Wales need

to say no they cannot and will not support this, waiting till the summer to create the white paper (the thing MP's will vote on) it just window dressing.

If the Story is correct Starmer is planning a reshuffle and people like Nandy and the Education Minister are going to be sacked, Kendall only got the job because Ashworth lost his seat

Feel 100% the same like a sitting duck, I knew they were going to be tougher on Welfare

but if someone had told me they would be worse than the Tories, The total denial about the impact of Covid the mere fact they are fudging numbers from 2010-2024 to make it look worse is nothing short of despicable.

amazon made 28 billion they paid 18 million in Tax apparently, there's a story flying around t

cool Trump down they will look at this tax again. If correct they are not even being subtle

its blatant whatever the rich want they can have. Truly what is the point of this Labour?

    What a brilliant reply.๐Ÿ‘Œ

That is a spot on analysis. ๐Ÿ‘ My favourite part was

"Watching her deliver that Spring Statement was like witnessing a masterclass in calculated indifference."

As you say, we will see her get her comeuppance, the sooner the better. It will be a different story to us when this happens.

Disabled people could give her a masterclass in courage, dignity and resilience. ๐Ÿ’ช

She would only be capable of a cringe making performance of cowardice, tantrums and a toe curling meltdown due to a total absence of character. ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Let's hope her downfall is a spectacular one. Nobody deserves it more. ๐Ÿค—

I still donโ€™t get why they are targeting the at risk category, are they trying to remove us from that group. Confusing as hell!

Take money from the billionaires and it might get them working....

Not sure she will even see it but just send the 1st Minister of Wales

a detailed breakdown of everything wrong with Labours stance on disabled people

and told her maybe its time for blunt speaking, Scotland was just starting to give Labour some trust they blew that again, Wales is heading the same direction.

The way Starmer and Co are acting does anyone really think they care about anything outside Westminster. Morally everything from Kendalls statement to Reeves is repugnant

the way this is dropped as many other Labour leaders say they cannot support it and wont support it. The very worst Starmer is forced to resign and hopefully a Govt will emerge one that actually understands what needs to be done, Because right now Reeves only has one plan to keep cutting as needed.

Good Evening, my name is Dรฒmhnall or in English Donald. Iโ€™m struggling tonight with my mental health, I wonโ€™t lie thatโ€™s for sure. The recent decision by the Labour Government to go after vital benefits has knocked the wind out of me, I have had to put a strict budget together so that I know what my incomings and outgoings are. Iโ€™ve been worried about the migration from ESA to Universal Credit, but Iโ€™ve been reassured that wonโ€™t be happening as I am in the Support Group based on income. Iโ€™ve still not had word whether my PIP is going up or down, the same with my Universal Credit. I really feel for every single person with a disability in this very very hard and unsure time. In the space of almost five years, Iโ€™ve done from working as a Support Worker to now having the tables turned and now being a Service User living in an adapted supported living flat. Iโ€™ll be honest I struggle to make peace with both my Mental and Physical Disabilities. When the darkness sweeps in like tonight, I donโ€™t take my Antidepressantโ€™s and just shut down. Doesnโ€™t help Iโ€™ve got a video call with the Job Centre tomorrow! Iโ€™ve still not had a notification to say to update my Housing Costs, been told to wait until the 7th of this month. Iโ€™ve just closed out all of my friends and become a recluse. I just feel like a shadow of my former self, just donโ€™t trust the helplines or mental health teams after poor treatment.

Hang on in there. It's all overwhelming right now but one day at a time can help. Get the stupid video call over with and you'll feel a little better. I know about closing down and going into yourself, it's a protection strategy but please do take your anti depressants - we need all the help we can get. Good luck for today

Thank You for your kind words Julie, I just have one of those nights where I just say to myself โ€œWhy Should I bother if others canโ€™t beโ€ but Iโ€™m a grisly old celtic viking that refuses to give up no matter the obstacle or challenges thrown in my way. I have for 41 years, taken the boxes down in my head, worked on that and then moved onto the next. Iโ€™ve stopped trying to run forward and instead Iโ€™m just shuffling slowly through each day, by blocking out friends Iโ€™ve kind of now closed the door and been able to focus on myself more and have deleted all of my social media accounts.

It's one of those things that sounds logical and reasonable to people who never had to deal with the DWP 'of course we should reassess substantial risk people after a certain period of time they might have improved!'

Yet those of us with lived experience of these assessments know going through that when you are a risk to yourself if just plain torture and makes us even worse. Honestly it's counter productive because I know for one it would make me even further away from work and more likely to need to have the NHS spend more money on me!

Hi, I can't find when my pip review is due, all I have is my appeal form and its not on that.

I read something about depending on review date matters when Nov 26th arrives, is this true.

II have 10 points for daily living, not being able to go to places that are unfamiliar I.e going to assessment. Help appreciated.

I accidently asked for all my medical records and there is about 500 pages from birth. I will blast them with the lot. I am currently under mental health for mood stabalizer change. I am currently waiting for childhood trauma counselling. Also sent to the gastro department because bipolar meds mucking up my bowels. So I will get graphic about that because forgetting substantial risk I can be signed off there as well.

I havent had the courage to pick the phone up to pip yet..my head keeps telling me that might make a UC review more likely

    https://www.thecanary.co/uk/analysis/2025/04/02/labour-approval-rating/

Labours approval ratings have sunk even further,

And Eluned Morgan speaks out further,

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c3r8xqqwyeno

the Free prescriptions are taken for granted without doubt

Reeves got called out thank god about her "pocket money" comments also

its clear the comms team threw this idea and it totally backfired.

within 48 hrs the head of it resigned.

    @Tumilty

Ring the PIP Enquiry Line on 0800 121 4433 preferably at 9am to avoid long delays in getting your call answered. Ask them to send you a copy of your award letter. It will probably take a while as it will be on second class post. I hope that helps you. ๐Ÿ˜Š
