As soon as your ID is verified, that removes the payment blocker, so it should be ok now.

They don't send email notifications when the statement is available. It will be around the same date every month so you could set yourself a calendar reminder if you want to check each one in future.

Thanks OA, so I just have to keep checking. I thought it would be available first thing this morning? The stress of all this is unbearable.

I have not received any confirmation in my journal that my ID was verified ok. Is this normal?

Also, I have not received a letter from the dwp, since I submitted my migration form, telling me my ESA has been discontinued. Am I supposed to get one?

Sorry so may questions. Too much stress.

I know it's easier said than done but please do try to reduce stress levels if you can. Hopefully there's something else you can focus on over the weekend?

The statements don't always appear first thing in the morning, they can appear at any time. All you can do is keep checking for now. The payment date will be around a week away so there really isn't any rush to see the statement right now.

I didn't receive any journal messages when my ID was verified either.

You will eventually get a few letters from ESA, but they could take several weeks. Some of them don't make much sense and there's nothing you need to do with them, so again not something you need to worry about, though I know the stress of the DWP envelopes myself!

Ok. Impossible not to stress! It has my first payment date as the 9th Apr.

Will keep you up to date here if that's OK.

I used the CAB helpline to help with my migration, so if any issues they should be able to help me?

Yes that's right. The payment gets made exactly 1 week after the final day of the previous assessment period. The statement gets generated shortly after the final day, because that is the one where we have to declare savings or earnings where applicable.

Yes, please do keep us updated on here.

I think the CAB help-to-claim line only advises on migration up until your first payment. But there is definitely no harm in trying them again if there are any issues. And there are always members on here that can help as well.

Hi, I'm guessing this is your first statement following migration!?

As you were migrated your 'transitional protection' will need to be calculated. This is actioned by a specific team and if that bit of work is outstanding then the statement might not generate. It could also be that the ID needs to verified.

Nothing to worry about though, just admin. Hopefully your statement generates in the next few days and then you'll be able to check the statement & of course receive the payment.

    Take care. x

Hi justsaying. Yes, this is my first statement following managed migration. Submitted my online form on 3rd March and only had my ID verified by a home visiting officer on Thurs 3rd Apr this week. I hoping that maybe this has delayed admin a little. Also, like a lot of people, i had to give them my adjusted housing costs on the 1st. So maybe they're confirming all these things, and it's a weekend so no one to do them.

Yes, exactly. There's quite a bit for the agent to action on a new claim. Agent to-dos which won't have been actioned as the ID remained outstanding. It's just admin so nothing to worry about. The first AP is always admin heavy as stuff needs checking/verifying/calculating. Once you have your first statement and assuming you agree with the calculations (check them) things will be much more mundane.

Thanks. Trying to reassure myself that it's because my ID check was delayed and only happened on Thurs.

Would be great if you could stick around. I assume you work for them in some capacity?

Under gone migration from ESA Support Group told today I am definitely LCWRA what happens ahead? So much conflicting information about its review with some saying as it's before April next year I never face WCA again will be under work try thing what is right?

DWP can request another WCA at any time, for people on old ESA Support and new UC LCWRA. But they haven't done for a while as they've been focussing on new claimants instead. So it's unlikely that you'll get another WCA, but certainly not impossible.

LCWRA is an ongoing award, so unless you have a change in circumstances or they choose to review it, there isn't anything more you need to do for now.

Yes got two years minimum before a review so anything can happen but for now immediate concerns passed

I have contacted CAB Help To Claim and they did a three way call to the UC Helpline. Eventually got thru to a nice lady from N Ireland: she said there are lots of outstanding To Dos for my Case Manager to get done, but nothing for me to do. She left a handover message for them and also left a note in my journal. They are supposed to get it sorted by 6pm tomorrow. My first payment might be delayed.

    TThe Waiting is unbearable.

    Its all going wrong.

Statement appeared. All wrong. No Support Group. No Housing on it. Help. Don't know what to do. Impossible for me to cope with

Honestly Moosee, are you surprised? The speed they've forced the amount of people across to UC from ESA, this was bound to happen. It all feels like it's geared to making the system so difficult that people close their claims to get away from the stress.

Hopeful someone here will be able to offer some advice. I'd suggest either calling UC directly or calling back CA and asking them for help. You can also leave a note in your journal, highlighting the errors.

Out of curiosity, when was your last ESA assessment to be placed in the support group? Mine was last year, and I'm wondering if we'll have to go through more assessments to verify our support group status??

I've got all this fun ahead of me, my statement date is 11th April.

Good luck Moosee. Sending hugs to you.

You can add a Journal note (using the payment option) to detail each element that is missing.

My last Support Group status was awarded April 2024 after submitting my WCA in Feb 2024.

    On phone to CAB now.
