I got my fifi 15 years ago ! I was in a bad bad place she's been through the ups and downs I never felt or feel alone with fifi and now have pixie as well they do give you a reason to get out of bed well done for making it on your own I have bpd and I know the pain of feeling abandoned just similar things myself so yes to be independent and not have to mask is liberating what breed would you get

I'm sorry this is not very uplifting (very low/upset). Does anybody try to improve their situation but then mental health takes a big hit when it doesn't work?
I have not been out (socially) since Dec 2019. An ex- colleague/friend invited me to her house tonight which I was so excited to go. I cancelled her last night for a few reasons.
One, I found out she hasn't got a downstairs loo and I can't get upstairs but thought maybe I could go up and down on my backside but it's an old property so don't know if I could do that safely or quickly enough.
Two, I've got to get a cab which although only c 3 miles away is 22.00 (equivalent to my food money for a week) and I've no 'spare' money so will come off my bills.
Finally... .(Sorry) my scaffolding should have been took down on Monday, but hasn't been, can't get them to tell me when, and can't leave my dogs when it's done, they work till 5pm ish some days and my friend wants me to get their for 445pm and leave at 9pm.
That's It.
Wasn't sure to post once I read this back. The patheticness of it. But that's my life. But I have just laughed at myself as I've just realised The Apprentice is on at 9pm so at least I can watch that, silver lining and all that. It just saddens me to get the opportunity to do what is 'normal' life, and I feel like I self sabotage it but my reasons are genuine.
I'm sorry, guess I'm just venting but it's difficult when in my head, I have 'great' plans to restore my life to some normality but then the reality hits and it's just that, why I have difficulty accepting/adjusting to my situation.
I hope everyone has a good day, I'll get over it it's hardly earth shattering in the scheme of things so I'll get some perspective, hopefully today. Thanks for reading and apologies for being glum. Take good care everybody β€οΈ
