    That is fantastic news!! 👏

All the news and information I have read and I've not seen that anywhere. 😮 I'm sure you are right but can you remember where you saw that information?

it’s on benefits and work and daily mirror I believe. You may need to google it though as I think I read it a couple of days ago

This is good news for a few but it was the same when PIP replaced DLA. Anyone born before a certain date remained on DLA. No doubt there are people in their 70s and older who are still on DLA.

Does anyone know the date the White Paper will be launched? Presumably it will include a draft Bill?

Waiting for the end of the Green Paper consultation period such as it is would have been wiser but they are what they are.

"Keir Starmer has regularly spoken about the importance of Judaism to his family, and has shared that Friday night dinners are a tradition. Shabbat is a “rock in the week,” he has said."

YET Hardie’s present-day successor and namesake, Sir Keir Starmer, is an atheist. He told

The Sunday Times Magazine in 2021: “I am not of faith, I don’t believe in God — but I can see the power of faith and the way it brings people together.”

People also need to know they might only see an MP's representative when they attend a surgery.

@MW123 Ignore my post. I've done some googling and have found the news on Benefits and Work, The Daily Record and the Mirror.

Thank you so much for telling me about this news. 😊

It still doesn't take the misery and worry away from the vast majority of disabled people though. 😞

I will still be campaigning against these vile proposals as I am so deeply concerned about the effects they will have on the working age disabled, including on fellow members of this community, so it's business as usual here for me. 👍

Thank you for your very kind words! 😀

The monarchy and the honours system is all part of why rich, privileged people regardless of whether they are of good character or not are so greatly respected in this very unequal country.

If you are poor or disabled you are considered to be of poor character, a scrounger and fraudulent. This is despite the majority being of good character, genuinely disabled and honest. 😡

I'm certainly not holding my breath for any positive changes in our class culture anytime soon.

Thank you for your help, looking for me 😊👌 but I have googled it myself and read about it.

I just think that I was still just really stunned about the good news. 😳 It hasn't really sunk in yet.

However, the majority of disabled people are still nowhere near retirement age and have these vile proposals hanging over them and I do not feel any less strongly about the position they are being put into, including the people on this community.

It is morally indefensible and I will still be campaigning against it, in the same way as I was doing before. ✊

Yes, thanks for reminding me, I can remember that now. 👍

That's the problem, it's only good news for a few, about these proposals.

The many still have this horrible prospect in front of them and despite my good news I shall still be taking a stand against this vile Green Paper on this community and elsewhere.

I will not ease up on campaigning as I cannot stand by and see other disabled people treated in this dispicable way. 😞

    @Catherine21

Thank you so much for asking — I really appreciate your kindness.
The shoulder pain is much better now, apart from a dull ache when I move my arm.
However, the neuropathic pain in my leg has been quite unbearable lately.
I’m just taking it easy for now.
Take care and thank you again for thinking of me.🙏🏽

would that help all of us or just that particular age group? It’s obvious it’s all about saving money and not jobs so surely it’s against all our human rights . I do hope so

"To me it doesn't matter whether Starmer, Timms or IDS are religious or atheists, they are all sadistic, immoral tyrants, hiding behind a thin veneer of respectability, so they can gaslight others to come round to their way of thinking."

But it does matter to you! By declaring a religious bent you are saying that religion does matter. And it does. It hides evil deeds.

I doubt anybody here but you believes that criticising Starmer's bloodthirsty attitude to benefits claimants means excusing IDS's murderous approach to social security.

Until any of you understands how the 'murderous' IDS got away with his murderous schemes then you are simply playing into his hands while those schemes continue unchecked!
