My main concern is that the nurse referred me (without my consent) to spa, particularly for them to assess my mobility and as to why I can't get to the surgery.
It's all on my records, therefore I am a concerned as to why I've been put forward for an assessment to check my mobility after all this time….
Anyway, spa contacted me today and I told the matron I did not give consent to the referral - which is unlawful (which it is, unless in an emergency or if the patient lacks capacity).
Because of all that is going on, I'm a little suspicious - I'm sure you understand :)0 -
No I haven’t seen that video . Was it from today ?

I was told about 3 weeks ago they don’t have the staff for reassessments. I asked as I’d seen it mentioned on YouTube. I told her I don’t know how you’d be able to though . She we don’t have the staff and have no plans of reasssessing everyone. She said please stop watching YouTube as she’s getting worried calls all day

Thanks everso much for that - that's exactly my concern.
Strange that (following a usual asthma review) the nurse referred me (without my consent) to spa, particularly for them to assess my mobility and as to why I can't get to the surgery.
We have to keep our eye on the ball :)I check my GP health record regularly, which is where I found the referral form which detailed a referral to spa for an assessment for mobility.
Anyway, spa contacted me today and I told the matron I had not given consent for the referral - which is unlawful (which it is, unless in an emergency or if the patient lacks capacity).
Thank you again for your understanding - I think we're reading from the same page here :)0 -
No problem, we definitely need to keep our wits about us . I feel the simple question of how are you today could be used against us if we answer the usual reply I’m fine thanks .
I remember one them maybe Kendall saying they’re joining nhs and job centre so they can “help “ us back to health and work. Don’t know if it’s all a coincidence but I read on a facebook group of people that have been asked questions such as how did you get here, who brought you etc . It could be a coincidence but it’s good to be aware and not be taken by surprise. How awful they’re making us worry how we spend our money and every move we make .

Couldn't agree more!
I am totally confused as to whether they are posting fake news or are simply talking from a place where the sun doesn't shine.Just in one week they are dangling a carrot on a stick for Indian employees (via a little break from NIC); on the other they are cracking down on care worker recruitment "from abroad".
Add in the benefit cuts and the following sounds like we've hit the nail very firmly on the head:
"Genocide, in a legal and historical context, refers to the intentional destruction, in whole or in part, of a national, ethnic, racial, or religious group. This destruction can manifest through a range of acts, including murder, causing serious bodily or mental harm, and deliberately inflicting conditions of life calculated to bring about the group's physical destruction. The key element is the intent to destroy the group, not just the act of killing individuals, according to the United Nations. "
The italics are mine as I can't highlight on here.
Have a good weekend (if you can).

when people start dying and they will, then these horrid excuses for humans will have a lot of blood on their hands.

Silver fox just said he’s cancelling the chagos deal as too much opposition. He’s obviously feeling the heat .
He’s a laughing stock , thinks so much of himself he claimed a deal with Albania as wasn’t expecting them to say no . Even the ones he’s deported so far that they’re taking credit for are probably mostly to Albania which was arranged by the Tory’s0 -
We need to make sure people don't start dying.

I've looked at Silver Foxes video about what Nick Williams said. I then thought, that sounds bad. I googled Nick Williams and the only article with any detail about him is one from The Times.
I read it (with a payment blocker) and it gave quite a lot of information but nothing about PIP actually being scrapped. 🤷
If Victoria Starmer works for the NHS, it would be strange if she didn't feel gutted about what her husband has planned for the patients and how many more there will be if the cuts went through. 😡 I'm wouldn't swap places with her, that's for sure!

Thank you so much for this, you have really helped ease my mind.
So, I'm on LCWRA ( since 2023 ) and PIP, so if in the future I loose my Pip, would this not affect my lcwra with being an existing claimant, with no change in circumstances?

I think what was meant was originally it was to be frozen until the economy is stronger vis house building. Then when that wasn’t working they brought in cuts . I said scrapped meaning the amount of people on standard who don’t get a 4 will practically scrap the standard rate. Apologies that was me .

They weren't refused UC. They just didn't apply for it, when told to by the DWP. They are given three months to do so so it makes you wonder what on earth they are living on as their ESA would have been stopped by now.

I can’t believe she didn’t see what he was like . I knew he couldn’t be trusted without even meeting him. She seemed happy enough when he took the WFA away . And she’s still walking around with him knowing he’s trying to get rid of the disabled. I doubt she’s given us a single thought .

I see what you mean! I can see why you put it that way though. The government are planning to virtually scrap the PIP DL.
Isn't it good that up to 130 MPs are opposing the cuts now. We apparently need a minimum of 83.🤗 That does look hopeful. However, we will have to wait until they vote for it to know for sure. 🤞
2 -
Oh god I hope they vote against. Do we need to Tory’s and independents to also vote against along with the 83 Labour.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if they scrapped the reforms . What a relief it would be for us all
