The stuff coming out about Rayner and Reeves plus the back down of winter payments surely shows pressure has changed minds. There's a long way to go until Nov 26 when it all supposedly kicks in so I do think things will change building up to then. Hopefully π€

Just watched her hissing and screaming like some psychopath.... Again all about pip and nothing about people on a mix of cbesa or UC lcwra / or just lcwra ..... Just that they will scrap the WCA , not even a date ..... God knows where that leaves people like me .... Do we just get reassessed with the normal wca ? If it's after the pip changes kick in November 2026 will we still get the WCA or do we get the new pip reassessment ? Just makes you want too end it all doesn't it π

No definitely not .... The only thing I can think of is that already have the undeclared accounts either through general data matching or when I changed my details something may of automatically flagged up , and they will be brought up at a standard review or when the snooping starts ....

Have you closed old accounts or are they still opened

Closed one nearly 6 and a half years ago and one nearly five

I thought once closed all the information has gone but that's not the case i just googled it.
Yes, the government can access information from closed bank accounts, particularly HMRC (Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs) and the DWP (Department for Work and Pensions). They may have specific reasons to do so, such as investigating potential tax evasion or fraud, or recovering debts.

Just read about the changes to WFA, good news for pensioners but strange theyβve u turned on the day theyβre mentioning a change to pip assessments/ criteria . IMO this could go either of two ways for us. The u turn on WFA could be a way to appease the rebellion regarding disability. I heard a while ago that they couldnβt back down completely over WFA as that would undermine reeves so they may raise the threshold. That seems what theyβre doing from what I just read . I donβt know how the MPs could justify voting for cuts to disability benefits as more elderly will be helped . We will still vote them out if they vote for cuts whereas the pensioners from what Iβve read donβt really vote labour .
My other thought is Kendall has suddenly announced a change in the pip assessments/ criteria which I read at the beginning of the cuts announcement was sometime in the future. Could they have brought it forward to change the criteria to make it easier to get a 4 point descriptor? That way thereβs no climb down from reeves and Kendall . If they change criteria so the 8 point question will become the 4 point and 4 point question will become a 2 hardly anyone will qualify. That will mean you canβt cook at all , feed yourself or wash yourself anywhere at all . I think the backlash for that would be enormous . But to change it so itβs easier to get 4 points wouldnβt be seen as a climb down. Just my thoughts but I hope itβs something positive π€

So the WFA u turn has happened but they're not budging on the cuts, I don't believe they will budge on this as it's become a sort of perverse ideological crusade for the Labour front bench.

Youβve done so much Catherine fighting for yourself and all of us . It would be disgusting if all it achieves is help for the WFA , though I definitely think they deserve it . But it shouldnβt be a bargaining tool to stab us in the back . Iβm wondering if Kendall looking into the pip assessments/ criteria suddenly means they could change it so itβs easier to get the 4 point , that way reeves and Kendall havenβt climbed down but softened the blow .

Yeah that's right but to be fair I never had over 6000 at anyone time in either of them , one of them most I ever had was 2800 and that was gone in hours , other than that it was mostly 2000 overdrawn , the second only ever had a few hundred at any one time so ooooo.....
The two declared ones had 3500 most and that was a back payment so disregarded but gone in hours anyway , and the other only a few hundred at anyone time .... It would uncovered old PayPal's that have been closed for like 4 years but again never 1 had over 6000 at anyone time , same with the bookies accounts and anything else .... Think the most I've ever been is 4800 at anyone time in a singular place or spread out across everything , and that was only hours π€·.... It's the transactions though , so many ins and outs , winnings and losing z friends lending me and me paying back .... A real Hodge podge ..... It would be a nightmare trying to explain π hopefully maybe I'm worrying a little bit to much

I wouldn't worry as be hard for you to probably remember where and when gambled as it's it's a chaotic addiction if they want to know tell them look for for it as you can't remember. My son was a gambler and know how hard it is, good on you for quitting though π

Yeah nearly 4 years now π

A massive achievement honestly π don't be worrying about things that are out of your control with the closed account your are probably worrying over nothing
