Yes I agree, I dont think people mean it, it just comes out wrong in written form, a bit like a text message!! This is what starmer wants though, people against each other all the time, e.g look what youv'e got, making us out to be lazy and workshy!! I despise the man, he's nothing but a used car salesman, and a useless one at that, trying to push reforms which are dangerous, cruel, and nobody whose any moral issues wants.
He's now trying to get rid of the standard rate in my opinion which would still affect loads of people who really need it, and are fully entitled to it. That's what I meant by him playing people off one another, those who get enhanced and those on standard rate, he's a monster, evil, and one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse.

Charlie I never liked him . There’s something very creepy about him . I whole thing needs scrapping but as you say we will all be going tribunal for that 4 points now. I think there’s a lot of us that should be awarded a 4 points but don’t appeal as we get an award anyway. This will overload the system

What I don’t understand is how it will save money . I know people on lcwra but not pip due to fear of the assessment. Now if they’ll have to have the new pip assessment in order to get lcwra and they pass won’t this mean they’ll also get pip ? So they’ll be on more money than they get currently

Yes been blinded with pip pip same when election came was bombarded with get Labour in just focus on that aspect lwcra kept us safe

Exactly Catherine but you notice they haven’t been mentioned apart from a payment rise . Not saying they don’t deserve the increase but what about they concentrate on finding them these great career opportunities first

Which proves its all cost saving because they mentioned we get too much they want us all on jsa save more than 5 billion hope mps not blinded with what proposals they come up with it's a mistake just focusing on pip should be pip and heath component on uc

Hi and thankyou chiarieds. I had a bad day yesterday, some comments came across as very anti State Pensioners claiming PIP, it did ruffle my feathers, a lot. I had lots more to say on the subject but then felt as I was so angry, better to just leave it and maybe take a break. I am calmer today, so with a deep breath here I am and moving on from that particular discussion.
Thank you so much for the advice and the links 😊Poppy helped me with advice re claiming pension credit, both levels plus I have tried the different calculators. I am a member of age concern and receive their newsletters and have spoken to them. The problem is I have a complicated situation. At the moment I really cannot and do not complain, as my SP along with PIP means I can manage just about, loosing PIP though would plunge me into real dire straights, it helps with so many extra disability related things I need to keep me independent.
Thank you again chiarieds 😊
and thank you to all those that understand we are all in this together no matter what age we are ☺️

Hi ,
Have you seen this information anywhere else other than The Financial Times? I’ve been looking and can’t see any other outlets reporting on this . Usually they like to copy each other .

This is like torture, every few days news comes out appearing to give hope to some people while still leaving the rest of us worried sick. I spent the morning going over all the point descriptors wondering if I could get 12 points. At the moment I get 9 and it’s soul destroying. I cant keep living like this, not sleeping or eating and just miserable. I try to stay positive I really do and have even laughed a few times at a couple of posts but I feel dead inside. Also just got the migration letter and that’s not helping, just can’t face it.
