posted by Johnny . Is this why they’re confident it’ll pass ? Does it mean no vote is needed

I'm sorry to say, I have found the Lords as unhelpful as MPs. They have nothing to lose.

If it’s true that it will be passed as a money bill what exactly does it mean ? Is it definitely going through ? And why is there no mention of this in the media or online

Will the pip changes mainly affect those with learning disabilities ? My son goes to a place where he learns skills etc & they sent a msg today saying that pip could affect those with learning disabilities & also a link to ask local MP to help stop it ? Thank you.

If a bill is to be treated as a "money bill", it must be formally certified as such under the Parliament Act 1911, and that certification must be stated clearly and officially. The current evidence suggests that this is not the case.
I have checked the official House of Commons Order Paper and Notice Paper for 18 June and today, 19 June 2025, as well as the latest parliamentary records. There is no indication or note in any of these official documents stating that the Universal Credit and Personal Independence Payment Bill (the benefit reforms) is to be treated as a money bill.
The Order Papers for those dates list the scheduled business and bills but do not include any formal or informal statement about money bill certification for this legislation.
As there is no evidence of such certification in any official documents I have reviewed, it would be helpful if John Pring could indicate the source of this claim.

We’re just interested to know why Corbyn put at the top of his letter that it is expected to certified as a money bill
