Morning lincsgranny
My first assessor was so bad the dwp wrote they wanted my next assessor to record the assessment. 30 minutes before the assessment was to take place over the phone the centre called and said the assessor wasn’t equipped to record and blamed the dwp as according to them it’s the dwp who make the appointments. So even the phone staff lie . As I’ve said on here before and some didn’t agree , I know of someone medically trained who went to the training to become an assessor. They were so disgusted by the methods they were taught to down grade awards they didn’t even start the job . I believe this to be true .

Pip watered down we can only hope for some more compassion. It's not about forcing people back to work. I get pip I work 12 hours it helps me greatly.

LCWRA is my biggest fear, I’d be lost without it, hope if they want to abolish it or make it harder to get this gets a backlash as well

I think 3 point instead of 4 . Still no good as we mostly get 2s

I really don’t understand the lcwra and pip that’s coming in the future ( hopefully not). Right now you’re on lcwra and probably too stressed at the thought of another assessment to claim pip ( though could be your own personal reason obviously) . If it becomes one assessment and you pass you will then get pip and lcwra equivalent. Unless I’m missing something i don’t see how they’ll make savings

From what I can see, most post's disagree with the reforms. My question is, how would you reform this sickness and benefit issue? Is it bloated? Is the bill getting too much and where.

Currently I am in receipt of UC with LCWRA and PIP at the standard rate, all this is so stressful I’m being reviewed for PIP my forms had to be returned in August last year and am still waiting for the assessment

I think money could be saved by going back to a DLA type of paper assessment. Saving money on assessments. Conditions that the nhs state are lifelong should be exempt from further assessment, again saving money . The problem isn’t us it’s the system. They can’t take money from a million people cos a few may be fraudulent when there’s less than 1% fraud in pip

with the BBC sharing things like this no wonder the public are misinformed. The most biased news channel I have ever seen. Such a non story if he doesn’t need it why claim it?

Hopefully it’ll be paper based as I’ve heard of more of them . My pip forms on its way to me 😩. I don’t know if it’s the 89 page version or the short one
