I know but if you we didn’t come into this forum or others like it we wouldn’t hear anything about it changing for us all 2028. Even YouTube hasn’t mentioned it

Surely the answer to "young people with mental health problems" that the Tories and co whine on about is more investment into NHS mental health services to get to the root of the problems?
Instead we have this "mental illness is the new bad back" which is dangerous rhetoric, if we ignore mental illnesses then it will put the safety of the public at risk too but oh well as long as the Right Wing get their way.

And they’re probably putting neurodivergent in the same category even though there aren’t proper send provisions then penalising them when they’re not able to work in future

Thank you but I am not at all confused.

when will the green paper be published. it keeps saying monday but still not published

Soon, I think they are still arm-twisting to avoid watering down these reforms any further.

Just read it thanks. But does not really guarantee that people who come to the end of their claim and go for a review will not be affected unless I have missed something. I am hearing lots of experts who are saying it is a play on words and that you will not be affected now but could be when your claim comes to an end

The minor issue seems to be the revised PIP descriptors will apply to all claimants, current and new. But I don't think we can create a two-tier system based on date claim.

Work on the review of PIP assessments/descriptors will conclude in autumn this year, as per written statement from Liz Kendall.

Changing the assessments/descriptors forms part of the reform bill. They need to pass this in order to advance whatever they want to do later.

Conclude! They haven't let the grass grow have they? What happened to the promise of working with disabled people?
