Your always supportive I had a moment I felt that's sad to see then later didn't feel that at all feel anger we been apart of this pantomime all preplanned someone said the 4 point rule was unlawful or something like that so everything they do is not for the better of us it's covering themselves I've written to loads of mps saying you have your vote now and we will have ours in may and as a disabled community you see who we stick together how strong we are we will systematically together make a plan to vote all mps who voted or even worse 173 abstained from this bill will feel the fear uncertainty terror of the future when we vote you out has to be done because thought on going to job centre no way I'd rather fight hard this week than not being able to attend and get sanctioned and lose everything so fight now arrr I annoy myself with my spelling type to fast and don't check

I really think when they say ''most serious conditions'' they mean being at deaths door. I believe many many of us that have the most awful conditions will fall through the cracks, the numbers eligible will take a massive nose dive, that is how the Gov will take the money back they so desperately wanted to save.

I think your right you must email mp if they voted for we can only try I am so worn down by this but have to still try up until the last minute as I believe timms will not stick to his word because that's all they are he can change at anytime not a good time to be disabled at all

Shame on Vicky Foxcroft! She resigned from the whip because she felt that she couldn't be in a position to force MPs to support the reforms. And she's voted aye on the 2nd reading! People on twitter are calling her a sellout!

Hi Catherine, My 3 local MP's all voted for the bill to pass 😡My three are split into sections of the city, I emailed all three of them. The first emails I sent I made the mistake of putting my post code in and was swiftly berated lol and told that I could only converse with the one MP who represents my area. So I emailed all three again, this time leaving out my postcode etc, guess what lol 😆 they must have crossed checked because this time the other two didn't even reply, such A holes they all are 🤬I am going email all three again, short, swift and stinging emails this time, I don't care if they are not my ''named MP'' they all reside alongside me in the same city.

I completely share your concern. When they say “most serious conditions,” it often feels like shorthand for “dying imminently.” But that ignores the daily battles faced by those of us living with incurable illnesses that do not fit that simplistic frame.
I live with incurable blood cancer. For more than two and a half years, I required blood transfusions twice a week to survive. After transfusion, I would get perhaps two days of minimal improvement before everything would unravel again. Walking became agonising, my muscles were starved of oxygen, and I would zonk out mid-conversation, completely unable to stay awake. My consultant explained this was not sleep but my body shutting down to preserve oxygen for my major organs.
My immune system is severely compromised. Over the years, I have undergone chemotherapy, blood and platelet transfusions, and intravenous immunoglobulin therapy just to keep infections at bay. I have had sepsis twice. And yet, because I was not actively receiving chemotherapy or radiotherapy at a given moment, the system could deem me “not in need” of assistance. My MP was visibly shocked when I explained this, she had assumed cancer is automatically protected. But that protection ends the moment chemotherapy or radiotherapy stops, even though the reality of still living with cancer does not.
This is not a loophole. It is a deliberate narrowing. And it will exclude people by design, not by oversight.
In her email to me on Tuesday, my MP said she is making enquiries into how blood cancer is treated under these criteria. Hopefully she will have more clarity when I see her this Saturday at the post-vote meeting. But I am also considering writing to Stephen Timms, because if our system cannot tell the difference between surviving and being well, then it is not safeguarding anyone. It is saving money at people’s expense.3 -

Same I've been emailing them all and when they ask for details I say your not my mp but just to let you all know you use your vote for this and we use our vote against you something like that I've never felt so low well I have but this labour government are sadistic and I think I have to accept this will go ahead

I'm so sorry to hear this if you don't qualify then who will God all this worry I despise them so cruel inhumane I don't know how much longer people can hold on you have so much to deal with !!! They are rewriting the whole script I hate to say it but it's not looking good

Hi MW, I am so sorry you are battling such a serious illness 🤗 I do hope your MP is better than mine, gosh, mine is so young and arrogant, if she was my Daughter she would not get away with that attitude. I am pleased your MP has promised to follow up on your questions, lets see if you get the response we all hope for, especially as it pertains to you and your situation. They all live in this bubble where they do nothing to help the people they are meant to serve. They have been elected as MP's yet also know nothing about the very nature of the things they are voting on. We live in very scary times and our future looks even more scarier, what will become of the disabled and ill folk, at this moment in time, very few seem to care at all, we are seen as a costly burden. I really believe the numbers entitled to any form of disability benefit will nosedive when changes to the assessment criteria are made, they will want that money back to fill that ''black hole'' we are all so sick of hearing about.
