It is very disappointing @Grumpy1314

Iβve had a Quick the NAS site, Iβll have to do a deeper dive at some point. Itβs hard for me with Autism, Iβve often been asked how it affects me and I have to just say it in simple terms - βI donβt honestly know as Iβve lived with it over 35 years. The Dr Iβve spoken to this morning is going to speak to the Psychology team, so I expect another long wait again. He mentioned about Autism specific CBT and I had to stop him and just say I have learning difficulties and I canβt make head or tail of it. He said something about Dialectic Therapy which Iβve no clue about.

Iβm just genuinely fed up, downtrodden and in all honesty, after five years of fighting to get the proper help, Iβve just about chucked the white towel in. Iβve just said to myself as I walked around the flat, Iβll only leave for any medical appointments and just keep my head down. Just carry on what Iβve been doing for the last five months. Iβm exhausted from fighting to get my voice heard, my Dr is doing me a referral for Advocacy Support and upped my Quetiapine from 150mg to 175mg.

I am sure you are. @Grumpy1314 Fighting for your voice to be heard is exhausting. You do wonder why you bother.
I am glad your doctor is doing you a referral for Advocacy Support and hope you do not have to wait too long.
Any time you want to rant, chat we are here for you.
Take care.

Oh Grumpy I know EXACTLY what you are going through right now and "Innerstand" completely as im kind of in the same boat as you. Everything you wrote I can relate to. I really hope you find an advocate to help you speak whats in your heart and support you on your journey

I'm not feeling very well today I have got a UTI. How about you @Holly_Scope ?

Oh no @durhamjaide2001, so sorry. That must be incredibly uncomfortable. Have you got some medication for it? π
I'm doing ok thank you. It's my last day at work this week so I'm excited for a weekend of spring cleaning and sorting my things out. I've a lot of clothes and products I don't use so going to sort them and give them away to my younger cousins. Nothing beats a nice spring clean when you're in the mood for it π

yes some antibiotics for it but they are making me feel sick. I'm having my other half of my breakfast for lunch which isn't like me at all.

Sorry to hear @durhamjaide2001. Hopefully it'll clear up quickly. Normally takes a few day's of antibiotics doesn't it. π

Just non-working days @Catherine21. I've got 3 in a row this weekend which will be nice. Hopefully the weather remains decent and I might treat myself to a day in the garden after my spring clean βΊοΈ

Been a rocky week to say the least π I just feel stuck in an endless loop that keeps playing on repeat. Due to being discharged by counselling on Monday, alongside speaking to the Mental Health Team Quack yesterday, Iβve been off my meds the last few nights. Iβve just really crashed hard this week, just not having adequate support truly sucks. But what is really pig muck is just not having anyone around, someone to speak to, someone to tell you things will be ok or someone to just give you a hug. My family on my Dads side, alongside my parents, sister and two ex wives have just destroyed me beyond belief over the last 41 years. Iβm still not used to living alone, the quiet in the flat is truly crushing. I honestly feel like a ship in a category five hurricane, with no light, no compass and no sense of direction. I get angry with myself all the time and actually feel ashamed of who Iβve become. Mental Health Team Dr is investigating referring me for advocacy, I just want to be heard. Iβm broken beyond belief.

Hey @Grumpy1314 that sounds like a tough time for you, I totally get the need to having someone to just vocalise things to, it can be really hard bottling things up. It's why Samaritans can be great, it's really worth you giving them a call so you can just speak your truth with no judgment. It always helped me when I was stuck in that dark place. Shout are supposed to be really good too. But please, try to keep taking your medication every day as it's really important. Missing even a single dose of antidepressants (and similar) can throw your brain chemistry out of whack really easily, so that wont be helping matters.
I'll be on shift here all weekend if you need your mind taking off things. Infact hte whole community is here for you 24/7. π2
