I'm feeling good at the moment.
The weather here is lovely and I'm going out to meet a friend later and enjoy the sea views.

That's really good to hear @luvpink it sounds like the outings and the sun have really done you some good. 😁

Thank you.
I am very fatigued but I am going to a social event today where I will be able to sit down.
I am trying to lead a 'normal' life but its very difficult with health issues.
I hope you have a good day.

Good afternoon everyone.
I hope you enjoy your social event @luvpink and it does not make you too tired. Well done for trying to "lead a normal life" whatever that is. Take care.
How are you doing today? @Grumpy1314 know we are here for you. Please do not cut yourself off from everyone. Take care.

I totally understand @luvpink it's so easy to "run out of spoons" even if you're feeling great on a particular day. Just take things easy and make sure you have plenty of fun today please. ❤️
I'm hoping @Grumpy1314 is just busy with some excellent films and shows. But agreed @Bluebell21 we're all around when needed. ❤️

Hello Grumpy, also thinking of you this Bank Holiday weekend. Please don't stay away! This forum is the main source of support for many of us. I dip in and out depending on my mood.
I'm very alone with my autism but knowing that somebody occasionally understands me here helps me feel less alone.
You write with tremendous insight. Remember that we all have to live with the decisions we make in life and we do what we need to do at any given time. I'm sorry you are struggling so much and feel unable to reach your family.
Sending a virtual hug.

Also thinking of Agnia and hoping she comes back one day with a new account.

Thanks for 'liking' my post, Kiki (reactions are only visible to members signed in).
You don't forget someone because they've left the forum.

Hello WhatThe,
I myself was only thinking of her today and hoping that she is ok as I picked up that she was struggling in recent weeks. Ive not been a member of Scope for long, however, her pictures of her cats brought me joy

Living with five different mental health conditions at one time is just plain brutal. I’m basically left to be my own support network. Counselling Firms won’t tough me due to my BPD and Mental Health Team will be the usual 1 year check ups. I’ll of course the ring and listen lines occasionally with the occasional check in with the duty worker. I’m just putting in place a strategy of keeping myself safe and isolated from the world in my flat, keeping a low profile, shutting out the world and just generally becoming a ghost.
I’ve had to shut out my family ten years ago for the goodness of my health, I’ve had two ex wives who have done untold damage to my mental health, as for friends well I got sick and tired of being the one to reach out and say hello and getting a brief response or completely ghosted, so for the benefit of my health I’ve just pulled the shutters down and put steps of self protection in place.
I’ll honestly say this that I don’t have a care in the world about myself, don’t like who I am, feel lost and just truly feel like I’m counting down the days until the final bell is rung.

Hi @Grumpy1314 I'm so sorry things are bad at the minute. I don't profess to know all the answers, but for me when I'm down I have to shake myself out of it a bit by doing something I'm not always comfortable with at the time, but that will make me feel better long term like getting out for a little walk. Is there something like that for you that can help you feel a little better?

to be honest, nothing makes me feel better anymore, apart from being asleep

I am exhausted and not feeling too good today.
Exhausted from pain and fatigue.

Perhaps if you join in on the forum more and build up a bit of confidence you might manage a walk outside in the future. Perhaps have a target of trying to do something everyday. Nothing big. Take care.
