I hope you have all survived the wind up North. It's been windy enough down here loads of rain but blue sky and wind now. My dog didn't want to go out until later in the day, I hope all of you with the really strong wind have managed to let your pooches out. I hope the wind drops soon.

night guys.. i am feeling so so . i am in pain watching telly but i guess i will go to bed after a film or two. i hope you are all ok. so far.. i feel rather hopeless. i need a change in my life and i can not see it happen. i am scared. i will see might only be out in the morning and then maybe back home… i will see.. mentally rather bad. it is rather draining being around people so i felt asleep when i went back home. when i nap i struggle to sleep later so i guess i might go to bed rather late today.. maybe three films… i will see.

@Amberpearl I don't blame you, it should pass over night hopefully. Keep safe.

@Schildpad I hope you have a better day tomorrow. Take each day as it comes. Keep talking, sharing your worries on line will help you get through these tough times. You have had alot on your plate with the transition etc, you will hopefully feel better once you are straighter with your uc.

Angus is supposed to get rid of the wind by midnight. Was mid 60s mph alot of the day. 45 mph now, dropping to a comfortable 20s mph very soon. I will get Gus out then for his walk.

@Santosha12 Midge hell on West coast. You would have to experience it to believe it.

That'll teach you to watch Brookside!

Plenty trees down, some parts of my county still without power.

I just put bins out, but am the only one. How exciting, will they or won't they get emptied?

Oooh I think that's what I've got on the window sill in my kitchen, don't know how they're even getting in when the windows closed, never had them before. Are you in Scotland?

I rang my then husband when the house got struck, thought i was exaggerating i think/didn't come home straight away but every electrical appliance that was plugged in broke/all sockets at back of house blackened, even those that weren't switched on at the wall. I don't unplug everything now when there's lightning but maybe I should. Another thing to worry about 🙄.

Morning guys. Woke up with the shock of the day by a message from the UC. By checking my UC account. It says I will get loads less. But in deductions it says 609 quid that i Will contiue to claim but it is not included in the final figure I hope I will get the ESA money this month. Otherwise I am in big trouble..so I will be checking. But I am scared... I hate the feeling of always feeling scared. Always scared Another thing. Even if I was below the 6000. But as I have and smmont from ESA backdated.. they reduced 143.55.. why is that. If they know is their money and it is supposedly not accounted for a year. Anyway. I hope I get the ESA money this month the 609.. and I will try to see what they deducted 143.55..

@Schildpad I'm not sure what you put on your details but if you go on the payment on your journal you can get the full breakdown. So mine shows an amount for my rent, which is deducted for me as I asked them to pay my landlord (council) instead of me having to do it. It shows the amount I will get from UC. It shows an amount deducted for ESA Sg, who still pay me the disability premium which for me is £280 every 2 weeks, as I wanted them to carry on paying me fortnightly rather than monthly. It shows an amount called the transitional protection ( this amount can go down when your rent goes up, eventually we will lose this over time) it shows whether you have savings, im not sure if there is up to a certain amount your allowed, as I didn't have any. It shows a deduction if you have had a loan from them. It will then show you the final amount you will get after all these amounts are added or taken off. This amount will be paid the same time every month as its done like a salary.

@Elvisdog i checked on payments… and yes it does show the esa apart that i hope i will get paid.. i do not understand why deducted money because i have more money in my account.. if i deduct the money i have minus the money ESA payment because the owed me. it is well below the 6000 . so why did the deduct it. i did tell the person i saw in the job centre that money was from ESA mainly . i got an standing order for my rent. anyway. i might have to write a note in my uc journal and check why did they deduct it.

Oh OK you need to maybe phone esa and say it's a back dated payment they might have took that as savings get a bank statement if you have to showing the day they put it in I did same with council tax and told them it's disregarded

@Catherine21 thanks i Will be keeping and eye in the bank app etc.. I hate the idea of calling them..so I hope they will find out it was their money. Maybe if I write a note on the UC journal so they might be able to do something.

I am just scared. And calling and making these phonecalls give me tremendous anxiety. So I don't want to call unless strictly necessary.
