    Good evening.

Its been a beautiful sunny day here but I was too fatigued to go out and enjoy it.

Maybe I will be able to get out for some fresh air tomorrow.

Has anyone heard anything from Sandy?

Been a quiet day, didn’t wake up until 12, mainly been sat watching tv. I did then decide to sort out a few books in preparation for them going into long term storage.
I’ve got to have my entire staircase taken out and replaced, it’s an absolute nightmare! I’ve got to have my stairlift removed and the only place they can store it is in my living room. Before all this I’ve got to have my Stairs and Landing walloped.
After they have fixed my stairs I need to have my carpets put down and then my stairlift can go back in.

While sorting the books, I was able to access the Welsh Dresser to store some critical items. I was able to put away two Lego sets that have been in bits since my ex wife dumped me, they have joined three others inside. VW Split Screen Camper, Ecto 1, Peugeot Le Mans Hypercar.

I have a Lego Wall-E alongside my late Aunt’s Vase on a shelf above me. I know some people may not have a similar belief, but I kiss a finger at night and touch the vase and look upwards and say night and love you to my loved ones.

I’ve set a timer on the washer with a decent load on, I always have it come on at Midnight to save energy and pennies. I’ve also sat and sorted out all the rubbish for the dustbin men tomorrow.

I’ve still got the thorn in my side of not having a LPA in place for both Health & Finance due to not having someone to sign it or act as an Attorney. I need to find someone that can help me do it pro bono and get it registered should I lose Mental Capacity.

I’m still not in a great place with the mental health due to the massive black hole that is lack of support available. It really makes me feel ashamed that Mental Health is still a Taboo Subject especially for Men still to this day!

I’ve had a band called Halestorm on in the background for the past few hours, Lzzy Hale recently sung at Ozzy Osbourne & Black Sabbath’s last show.

I have to admit Halestorm are one of the best bands I’ve seen live and the song below truly speaks to me for not just me but anyone going through a battle with Mental Health

Gosh, I wish I'd gone to Scotland when I could have travelled, my grandmother on materal side was from Aberdeenshire. Furthest I've been is Dumfries which I think is just over the border. When I was a bit terrified during a bad storm (lightning etc) it dawned on me it's one of the few things you can't ring the police etc for as they obviously can't do anything about it ! 🙄🤣🤣

Its a beautiful day here and I'm hoping to go out later.

Its going to be a horrendous weekend as we have the usual holiday makers and we are expecting 25,000 extra people here attending the Boardmasters festival.

i had a so so day. at times was ok but also i had been very jumpy. my anxiety is really bad. i went to the oriental shop and bought some food, noodles etc.. .. and now i a m at home. i am not sure what to do to be honest. i am always got that feeling of being scared and it does not stop. i am really tired of this… everyday is the same and the prospects for recovery very slim. i rather do not think about it. i hope you have a good evening… and night. i still did not have the courage to write down a message in my journal about that deduction. i probably ill try to do it tomorrow. but it is very hard for me to find the courage to do almost anything. it takes take and loads of willpower to do things, i just rather feel like being in bed with all blinds on. as dark as possible and stay there. rather bleak….. the future is.

Quiet day at the mill, done a bit of administration work. Then decided to have a wash, then looked in the mirror and ended up having a normal shave, then decided to shave the old head 🪒

Then I put my brave pants on, took two diazepam and headed out for a walk to the local chippy to grab tea.

I’m now just considering, whether or not to reactivate my new Facebook and to let friends back in. But I must admit I’ve got a very strong distrust of the outside world.

It was surprisingly and pleasantly quiet in town today despite the usual holiday makers and Boardmasters going on.

I managed to have a good afternoon.

I am rather angry with myself. I really hate myself when I misplace stuff. My memory is so bad and this was a shopping list. Now I probably will have to be in the place walking around until I remember the stuff I wrote down. Fact chance. I am sure I did not throw it away . I might never find that list. Hence the reason I really have to tidy up. Anyway I will try to forget about it as it really angers me on how useless I am.. it was an IKEA list. I know it was not big stuff a couple of things the rest is good I think. It is silly but for me Is a mountain. Only people with anxiety knows the feeling . I can not help it..

Both my daughters live in Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen city centre.

I don't think i have ever been to Dumfries and yes, Dumfries and Galloway is on the border.

Btw 'Dumfries', like many place names in Scotland, it originated from Flemish settlers that came to Scotland as far back as the 11th century. This migration accelerated in the mid 12th century, when England's King Henry II expelled the Flemish, for muscling in on English commerce.

Fascinating; I always knew of the Scottish ancestry from my mum telling me. Funnily enough, I always felt a strong affinity with Scotland and Northern Ireland too (including the old music so when hearing it felt I knew it /heard it before). It was only when I sent off my DNA test (for Ancestry hobby) that I had links to both and something like 33% Ashkenazian Jew which is from my maternal grandfather who came to Scotland from Poland.

I should rejoin the ancestry thing again. I only really stopped as my sisters would say don't tell me/not interested. But also didn't know how to link up to the different country's Registers to properly delve into it but there must be a way!

Your other post (from The Guardian) re ME/CFS genetic link, reminded me of this as I recall reading something once about the DNA having memory, not sure I really understood it tbh but would be interesting to explore it again.

I'm sadly estranged from my sisters but I can always come here to bore everyone 😴 🤣🤣🤣 or create an Ancestry thread once I actually know something!
