It's devasting to read this article. Why are so many public buildings and public services lacking the essential facilities disabled people require. A Changing Place isn't a luxury, for some it's a necessity.

Imagine visiting a hospital or a school or any public space, needing the toilet, but someone says, No, sorry they aren't available to you. You're so desperate for the toilet, you have no option but to wet yourself and you still have to attend your appointment. How would that make you feel?

Why are disabled people made to feel less in this situation?

It strikes me as strange that a hospital, of all places, that it should be found wanting in this regard.

I remember being in a pub and asking where the disabled toilets were, only to be told they was behind scores of stacked chairs!

All buildings should have disabled toilets in them especially if any of their are disabled too.
