I fell asleep and a nursing assistant just literally woke me up asking if I want the light off….As soon as I woke, pain hit and she had to get the nurse to give me painkillers again. Still waiting for a doctor, nurse said she put a request but might be morning now.

I thought i'd try 1 piece of toast this morning as i'm so hungry. 10mins later I threw it back up again and nurse had to come running with anti-sickness. Day 15 with no food.

The consultant just came round and assessed me again, hes going to put me on a drip. But has no idea why my body is refusing food. He has to run lots of tests on me to check for things and see if i'm intolerant to anything. He also said they have referred me to the dietician a few times but they declined the referal as you have to meet certain criteria i.e try all drink options. He said now we have exhausted those options they should come and see me tomorrow.
He also said about that enema thing that it shouldn't be a concern as that part of the bowel is redundant and not being used as I have an ileostomy, and if some crohns is flaring somewhere where they missed then the infusion of ustekinumab should calm it down again and sort out.

It’s completely understandable that you want to keep a record of everything, and I’m really glad you feel listened to — you’re definitely not alone here.
By the way, if you’d like, we can ask the admin team to change the thread title from “Hello Again” to something more specific, so others can quickly see you’re currently in hospital and pop in with more support. Just let me know and I can request it for you, or if you prefer, you can ask them yourself.
Take care and rest as much as you can. I need to get going now as I’ve got a few things to sort for work tomorrow, but I’ll check back in soon.
