    Your file may not have been sent to Serco and is with DWP. It's nothing to worry about. They definitely have your form as you received the text message about it. It's unfortunately just a waiting game now. Please try not to worry.

    All you can do is await the outcome.

    Its very frustrating but the waiting times vary so much with some claimants having to wait a lot longer than others.

    The main thing is they are still paying you so please try not to worry.

    Hi I contacted DWP they said your file is on his way to health provider serco or maxima

    Is been 25 weeks

    So I guess is going to be a stressful assessment

    Please any help

    can I request for phone assessment instead as I suffer panic disorder and on intensive CBT and I do that via zoom

    You can request a phone assessment, but the assessment provider isn't obliged to agree.

    I am anxious and get panic attacks every time I am on public places

    Even my Gp I normally ask for telephone calls

    Very anxious about the situation

    I know the provider but I don’t know if they going to book an assessment or not

    So do I wait for them Mybe they don’t need to

    Is been 32weeks since I submitted my renewal

    3 weeks ago I sent some extra evidence

    No reply or dicission

    When called them they said is triage to go for an assessment

    Any help please

    Sorry to hear that @saj26, that's a long wait. Unfortunately, there isn't too much you can do apart from call to check up on them or ask for an update which you have done. It's so frustrating, but there can be long backlogs for these sorts of things. Hopefully it won't be too much longer and they'll be in touch soon.

    Hi @saj26, that sounds like they're deciding what kind of assessment you might need. So for example, whether you might need a phone assessment or a paper-based assessment (which means they don't need to speak to you). Unfortunately, there are quite a few people having these long waits at the moment, so I'm sure you're not alone in having waited 8 months.

    Fingers crossed that it all comes through soon.

    Today I received serco text saying

    This is a message from Health Assessment Advisory Service. We conduct Personal Independence Payment (PIP) assessments for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). This is for information only, to let you know that we are managing your PIP assessment. We will look at the available evidence and will contact you with an appointment if we need to arrange an assessment with you. You can find information about the service we provide at https://www.haas-serco.co.uk. You do not need to contact us.
    So hopefully this will be not long
