Credit card bills count as debt, so you are allowed to pay those.
Personally I wouldn't pay them immediately before declaring savings as that looks a bit weird. But I wouldn't be at all concerned about paying that at any other time during the month.

Yeh I can see that, even though a bill but gets yer minus a £250 threshold.
Do you not think starting monthly update will trigger unusual activity if something not done before? Thanks.

I really can't say unfortunately. Personally I've never been asked for statements, and wasn't updating for the first few months I was on UC, so it's not like I was always doing it from the start. But I've seen others who get asked for statements just for updating savings once. I really don't know what's triggering it.

I'm none the wiser, tomorrow is the day. I was asked to up update my situation. Could just say I thought only had to if asked. I dunno. 😔

It doesn't seem a lot to say if I go through 6 thresholds it's only around £30 off a month's amount.
