I hope you have a lovely time with your friend @luvpink.

I'm glad you had such a good time @SheffieldMan1976. I'm so interested to see what you've been working on.

I saw a robin this morning, and also a fledgling being fed by its parents, both right outside my bedroom window. Lovely surprise as I’d never seen that happen in person before.

That's so sweet @FluffyCatMeow! I saw a baby magpie with it's parents doing the same this morning. Do you get to see a lot of birds from your window?

Oh wow @FluffyCatMeow that sounds wonderful, good for you! Makes me smile, just imagining this.

I am one for comfy clothes - no denim for me @Mary_Scope but yeah, sometimes bright colors to break with the dread so to speak? Dopamine dressing was new to me, but fits that description perfectly. Anything to cheer ourselves on, right?
    And how are you today?

    I hope y'all had lovely outings @Amberpearl @Bluebell21 @SheffieldMan1976 @luvpink

    Good evening.

I went to visit my dear friend.

He spent 9 months in hospital and he was discharged in December but he isn't well at all.

    Its sad to see.

    @SmellyBin

    Thank you.

I did go to look at some new carpets and I got a few sample pieces so can match colours to some new sofa's.

I'm exhausted now so I'm listening to some music this evening.

I hope you all have a restful night.

seeing a baby magpie must have been wonderful!
I am starting to see more now that my mum dug a couple of flowerbeds right by my window. I’m guessing the birds like the plants for hiding spots, and the exposed mud for worms

Good morning everyone. Rain here again.

    Grocery shopping today.

    Take care.

Good morning @Bluebell21 Rain here as well. You enjoy your grocery trip, hopefully with the tiniest bit of sunshine if possible.

This morning I did an online micro task and made 3 quids already (yay), and I am hoping to wash my hair today.
But mostly I am happy to finally have managed to quit my Norton subscription that has been bugging me for days. I even needed the AI-assistant to talk me through it, but at least that is done. I feel like punching the air :)

Morning everyone (just!). It's really dull here, but not raining yet!

Is it a big stock up shop for you today @Bluebell21, or just a few bits?

They don't always make cancelling those things easy do they @SmellyBin?! Well done for getting through it. How long did the micro task take you? Is it quite easy?

A big stock up shop today @Rosie_Scope I hope the supermarket is not too busy.

That was a fake transaction for a virtual banking app, less than ten minutes @Rosie_Scope. For me it started with doing online surveys from where I sometimes was invited to test an app or keep an online diary and then I started looking into more of those sort of tasks.
By now I am really getting the hang of it and I enjoy doing something like that, both for it being a tiny job that I can handle and also for the payment. I don’t have a disability allowance, so the skirt I bought was paid for with my own money which feels like an accomplishment (if that is the right word?).

I am not supposed to share links to these platforms so I won’t, but if anyone is curious and wants to give it a try they can contact me personally.

And I also washed my hair, but didn’t count on being this knackered afterwards. But at least I am knackered with properly clean hair.

How is everyone else doing today?

That sounds really interesting @SmellyBin! £3 isn't bad if it only takes you a few minutes! And definitely an accomplishment to have paid for your skirt! How long have you been doing it for?

I do a similar thing with surveys, but it's mostly market research. Occasionally I get sent free things to report back on like laundry liquid, bleach or very occasionally sweets. And sometimes I get to watch TV shows before they come out and give my opinion on them. It's only £2-3 at a time and sometimes I struggle to have an opinion about bleach 😂 But it all adds up and goes towards my "treat yourself" type things

How was your shop @Bluebell21? Did you manage to get in before it got busy?

That sounds nice @SheffieldMan1976. Have you got to travel far or are your family nearby? Are you doing anything special with them?

Not too far, I doubt we'll be doing much because neither of them drive on health grounds.

Whoahahaha, Rosie! Yeah, I can imagine having to struggle to have an opinion on bleach. These things sometimes get to me: the world being on fire and they ask me yet again about the new flavor or wrapping for crisps or shampoo.

On the other hand, we get to be undercover influencers this way :) And doing a survey that is actually academic research or getting mail from all over the world just to help check if the mail services are working properly is quite alright. I've collected quite a bit international stamps so far.
