    Good morning.

    I have the decorator here.

Hopefully he will finish the job tomorrow and I can get the place back normal again.

I'm having a restful day and this evening were going to a chinese restaurant for my partners birthday meal.

I hope you all manage to have a pleasant day.

    Afternoon all 😊

Blood Test with the Vampire and Chest X-Ray went good. Been in the shopping centre to get the old bins adjusted, then nipped to Tui to make some amendments to my holiday. I sat down on the bed when I got home and it was like a Death Eater had sucked all the energy out of me. I made the decision to skip sitting on the sofa to watch TV and instead now I am sat on my bed watching S.W.A.T. On the iPad. Had to ring Mediquip to arrange for someone to come and fix the brakes on the Rollator. Only managed five hours sleep last night, going to attempt an early night, just hope me and the Sandman can come to some form of agreement.

Looks good - you've done a good job of that 👌 Always wondered what it must feel like having a bald head. Is it colder? 😅

Having a bald head for me is about never having to pay a barber in several decades. 👍️

That's definitely a bonus! Save on shampoo as well.

And you don't have the hassle of tangled hair, or blocked hoovers. I shed so much! I don't understand where it all comes from!

I would wager Gus sheds more that yourself tbh. 😁 My Sebo is pretty decent at handling his hair, bagged vacuum cleaners are the best option. I change the bag every 3 or 4 months, even if it isn't full, that's when they usually start getting smelly. I replace both filters every 2 years too.

it’s true, I tend to use clippers to shave it close to the skull. Then a five bladed razor, which the manufactures say not to use on there website. I also don’t use shaving foam, instead I use the old fashioned shaving brush & shaving cream to lather the old dome up.

Had the plumbers here for four hours today while they located and repaired the leak coming through my kitchen ceiling.

I am now exhausted as I hate having workmen in my house. Still needs to be plastered that will be done early next week.

Every time I go in the kitchen cannot take my eyes off the big hole in my ceiling, still at least there is no water coming through anymore.

I'm back from my day trip and wow what a lovely trip it was. Started off with a nice half empty train ride to Manchester Victoria. Nipped round the corner to platform 3 to be greeted by one of these little beauties. as it glided in to the station. It gave a fast and smooth ride to Liverpool. Then came the scary bit and anyone who has descended in to the underground station for the Mersey Rail Trains knows how scary it is on the descent esculators. They are so steep it really does play tricks on your mind lol. I held on tight to both rails for dear life lol. Lets just say I was glad to get down there lol. The draft down there is amazing as the train comes rattling through the tunnels. It was very breezy at New Brighton. Enjoyed my time there walking around admiring the Mersey. A pretty good day out and For £50 rail fares money well spent. Those day Rangers are worth their weight in gold. Last time I got one of those was in 2016 and I went for my first ride on a Virgin train to Stoke On Trent. I love train travel it's a great way to get about. The Next Journey I take on rails will be to Blackpool North in September. Bring it on lol.

It started a couple of weeks ago but getting a plumber has been a nightmare. It started as a drip then was getting worse, so had a bowl underneath ( which of course Sam had to investigate). @WhatThe

Then this plumber was recommended by my neighbour and came and sorted it today.

The problem I have with having a fairly new house is all my pipes are hidden and to get to them a fairly large hole has to be cut in the ceiling, which then needs plastering.

The kitchen ceiling will then need painting but my husband will do that.

I will be happy when it is all done.

I also had the house alarm serviced today so a full on day that has been unsettling for both Sam and me.

I am glad that they have found the source of the leak, do you have the insurance to cover the cost of the damages and the repairs?

I do thanks @Rag_793 I will send my claim form off once I have the bill for the plastering.
