    Afternoon all, managed three and a half hours sleep after falling asleep just before eight am. I am resting up in my room with the door closed and blinds shut. Feeling low to say the least, neither happy or full of hope. Just feel kicked in, broken and drained. Going to close down for awhile and take things one minute at a time.

    Good morning. Bit sunny out and a cool 17C. Off for a little walk to the Co-op in a bit. Need some more milk. Laundry day as well and a bit of cleaning. Then Chill out. I saw a post on facebook about the eclipse on Wednesday and thought that's a good idea so I put some Eclipse specs on Ebay. Hopefully they'll come before Wednesday evening. I remember the last Eclipse in 1999. I was working in York at the time and we all downed tools to go outside and watch it. The company very kindly provided the specs. I remember one in I think 2009 it was only a partial one then but it was Eeerily silent and the birds roosted in the trees. There was a chill in the air too and the school kids were stood on the playing fields watching it.

    I was going to make a post about the eclipse today @Johnboy412000! Hope your glasses arrive in time. I remember the 1999 one too, it was really spooky but amazing to watch. Do you think you'll get a good view of it from where you are?

    Not long woke up, going to have a quiet day watching stuff on the iPad on the bed. Still not in a good place mentally, going to have coffee and toast later on. Other than that keeping a low profile and rest up. Have a good day everyone 😊

    Quiet day to say the least, made some Toast and a Coffee. Sat on the bed watching the iPad and had a sleep 😴 going to have an early night and then tomorrow do some housework, 1 room a day

    Morning All,

    another stop start nights sleep, could do with a cricket bat around the bag of the skull. Woke up and had meds before a wash and shave. Going to try and rest up again today, hopefully I can get to watch Spiderman on Wednesday

    Hi @Rag_793, that sounds like a positive start to the day (despite the broken sleep). I had a similar experience last night but I think that's because I had a rest earlier in the day and didn't really get up to much Sunday.

    I hope you feel better over the coming days and can get out to see Spiderman ☺️

    I have strategy if I am not in a good place mentally and physically, I will sit on the bed watching tv on the iPad. Sometimes it can be 3 days.

    Good morning everyone. Here we go with the start of the 5th heatwave. 4 days of hatred lol. It's ok but it zaps your energy and not only that but it makes rail travel a no no due to the risk of buckled rails. Day trip for me not decided where I'm off to yet but it'll be on the buses.
