    Oh @Rosie_Scope I almost died laughing!!! 🤣😭

@Rag_793 Congratulations and I'm so jealous!! You've got me thinking of ordering a new one too. I can't walk with the ones I have because they're not pneumatic wheels so it's too much for back and shoulders strains from the bumps. The pain is less in my feet now since I'm losing more sensation. So I can walk a little now. Want to walk a bit before I can't. 🙏 Keep us posted please. This is exciting for us too to hear you getting out and about. 🤸🏼‍♀️👍🏼😁

Thank You 😊 The one I have bought has large 12 inch wheels at the front and 10 inch wheels at the back. They are solid rubber with no risk of any punctures. The whole rollator weighs around 9kg. What I like is the way it stores as it stores side to side, rather than back to front. The one I have from Mediquip is stored next to my front door, however my stairlift chair stops between the handles which is inconvenient.

Good morning @Rag_793 and what an awesome upgrade! That's similar to what I'm thinking about getting too. I have a lightweight byAcre walker that folds side-to-side, but it's not meant for off-roading. My spirit is dying with the lack of proper nature in my life, and my thinking is to get something to get out there while I can. Are you planning on taking yours out in nature?

So what's making me smile today is the thought of getting a new walker to add to my already ridiculously vast collection of mobility devices 🤣

mine is designed for use on a variety of terrain which is a good thing. I will primarily use it in and around town, as going over cracks or bumps in the pavement is jarring. Which doesn’t help the Arthritis in both my shoulders. It will also be a good thing when attending theatre shows, concerts and museums as well. I will be taking it abroad hopefully in a few years and it may see varying terrain there. I also hope to visit the Lakes and also head up to Scotland as well at some point too.

Wow @Rag_793 you've got a ton of fabulous plans and dreams already. Absolutely awesome. That's what has me smiling today, dreaming of the possibilities. Where are we without dreams? 😊 So are you going to name your new walker?

Booked into the cinema this month for two movies. One very nostalgic one for me having grown up with the original Transformers Cartoon and the recent passing of Peter Cullen who voiced Optimus Prime, alongside being the long standing voice of Eayore and also The Predator.

This morning I'm all smiles because my favourite cousin is picking me up in an hour to go to my favourite mall. Yay! Triple yay!! 👏🏼😁

I went not needing anything, but that's not a good excuse to come home empty handed, right? 😊

What made me smile today is washing and ironing the t-shirts I bought yesterday to wear with my new nature walker, which arrives next week. They both have encouraging words about nature. They're from my favourite sporting store, Decathlon.

This is rather large, on the front of the shirt. The t-shirt looks grey, but it's a darkish green…

This is rather small, like a crest to one side. This is a charcoal grey t-shirt...

They're very cute tops @StarryEyed. I particularly love the embroidery. It's a good motto to live by and one that I need to do myself!

@Rachel_Scope yeah, I'm looking forward to getting out after spending most of the summer hibernating at home to avoid the heat. The walls are closing in on me at this point. Argh! At least we've got a cool-down period now at night and early morning. That will extend over the next couple of weeks into evening and late morning. Oh joy oh bliss! Is your weather good for going out now? Or is the barrier more a motivational barrier? (I have motivational barriers too.)

That will be so good for you to be able to go outside again @StarryEyed. I bet night and early morning are very peaceful times to go out too. Mine's more driven by anxiety and motivation. The weather is still warm but with showers so it's difficult to know what to wear! I'm trying to be healthier and I've been going on my treadmill but it would be nice to go out for a walk. The only thing is is that it is incredibly hilly here and I get tired very quickly. How do you push yourself to go out?

I honestly don’t have any reason to smile anymore, not really smiled since October 2023. I should be going to Manchester on the 3rd of October for a Musical, but I am not exited about it and it fills me with dread.

My anxiety is through the roof about this, which is killing my motivation. I have a phobia about buses and need to start taking the bus. Working on a plan on how to overcome my fear. What's your anxiety about?

    What are you dreading?

What made me smile today was seeing one of my best friends at a café this evening. She told me about her recent trip to Poland and I told her about my new IFS therapy. She fills my heart to the brim. 🥰

The furthest I have been since October 2023 is to the Titanic Exhibition in Birmingham in June. I can feel my mental health is sliding, travelling 79 miles away from my safe space is scaring me. There are so many variables outside of my control which are frightening me beyond belief. I have cancelled my trip now, my trip to Birmingham to see Deep Purple is a 50/50 at the present time. I just have no reason to want to smile anymore.

Oh I'm sorry your dreams were crushed. Grieve. Allow yourself that grief, right? It seems I spend most of my life grieving one thing or another. Last fall I started travelling and it was like pulling teeth for the reasons you give. They were just tiny trips but they were so very scary. Regardless, I forced myself and learned a lot - the hard way. Now I'm not travelling at all, just sitting back and taking stock of the lessons. Maybe I'll travel again. Maybe not. It is what it is. I'm focussing on other projects now. Most of them are really, really far from making me smile. And that's okay. Life is rarely rainbows and lollipops for most people, right? But when the basics are unobtainable it's a real effing kick in the teeth, eh? Here's a song that helps me move with the often changing and many seasons of life. For you. This is 'Turn! Turn! Turn!' by The Byrds.
