Support Formal UN Recognition of World Cerebral Palsy Day
50 million people live with cerebral palsy worldwide. Their voices and priorities deserve a place on the global agenda.
World Cerebral Palsy Day brings together more than 187 partner organisations and reaches millions of people each year. Yet 6 October is still not formally recognised by the United Nations.
It’s time to change that.
Formal UN recognition could give this established global movement a lasting international platform, helping to build support for better research, accessible services, inclusion and opportunity.
At its heart, this campaign is about ensuring people with cerebral palsy are heard, and their priorities receive sustained attention and action.
Join the call for UN recognition of World Cerebral Palsy Day.

Dobroshrift is a charity project aimed at helping children with cerebral palsy. A large group of children took part in creating the typeface: they wrote letters and symbols in special notebooks and samples of their handwriting became the basis for the unique typeface, symbolizing unity and support.
