anyone know how long mandatory appeal takes? not holding out any hope on that end but cant start tribunal appeal until i get verdict?-also on day off assessment 15th april----girl just ushered me into room and stated she had been requested to carry out assessment-------------she did not introduce herself or show me her name badge she had round neck-disability action pointed this out to me as they keep a record of assessors names-to sort good from bad as they c it-i had to ring up capita to request same----was told she would have identifed herself-she didnt ---- girl insisted she would have if i had been paying attention---cheeky or what?-at time i never gave it a second thought but i have now to put it in writing to them she said i had to do this-she was not helpfull at all on phone--------it took 9 weeks and 4 days to get daming result  from them in post from assessment day  for anyone waiting on results-i know someone else waited 9 weeks exactly----now they are cancelling appointments left right and centre in dungannon and portadown-due to sickness-shortage of staff and holidays-so d/action told me

Are all the decision makers based in one location or are they spread out across Northern Ireland? Seems to be a lot of people on here and other pages from the County Armagh/Fermanagh and Tyrone areas waiting a long time for a decision

baggsy26-was this a home visit or which centre had u to go to? how long where u kept? it appears they are spending less time on home visits than at the centres mine lasted 55 mins-my rep0rt same as yours she contradicts herself on few points so d/action girl said m/appeal in but can take 8-10 weeks in a lot of cases -m/appeal is sent to limavady and then goes back to an assessor in dwp-not one that saw oridginal report but d/action said only 18% of appeals overturned- will have to go to tribuneral and waiting time at moment is around 10 months from they recieve appeal in omagh or belfast

Do you actually have another assessment or is it just looked at by someone else don’t know how it works ?

When requesting the MR you should put the request in writing stating where you think you should have scored those points and your reasons why. Adding 2-3 real life examples of what happened the last time you attempted that activity for each activity that applies to you.

Avoiding mentioning any lies that may have been told in the report because DWP and Tribunal won't be interested in any of those.

There's no re-assessment when requesting the MR and your report is very rarely returned to the assessment providers. Another decision maker will look at the report and make a decision. Usually they remain the same with a copy on paste from the original decision. Most people end up taking it to Tribunal.

Yes, they very rarely contact anyone for any evidence.

No problem. It's the claimants responsibility to prove they qualify, not theirs.

Might be waiting a while, into my 7th week waiting since f2f! 6 weeks since they received the assessors report!
