Hello
I'm April a mom of two active toddlers who keep me busy! One of them was prenatally diagnosed with SB- spina bifida at 20 weeks and is a full time wheelchair user as he has no leg function at all. He is a happy health almost 3 year old child however who loves art. I love art myself as well. I'm in my early twenties and live abroad far from my family. I was originally born in America but moved to the UK at 4 years old. I love reading but rarely have the time to sit down with a good book these days.
P.S sorry for the rather late introduction.

Hello April am one off the community Champion’s here at Scope. it’s really nice to meet you.
thanks so much for sharing your life with us, sorry about your Son but like you say he is a happy little boy and that is all that matters, what part of the World do you live in, it sucks when you are so far away from Family? I loved to read but found I could grasp the reading any more, I now do audio books, I listen to these when I iron, shopping any housework, maybe you should try it, I have an earpiece in so I can still hear what’s going on around me.
Have you got anyone in your life?

Hi @April2018mom and thanks for sharing your introduction. You sound as though you are kept very busy with your toddlers. Thanks for highlighting Spina Bifida which I have also. That's good your wee boy enjoys his art. When I was a child my parents found the Spina Bifida Association to be a great support network for them so here is their website if you want to have a look:-
