Hi @Adamjhods and welcome to the community! Coming to terms with a diagnosis can be a long and emotional process. It takes time to adjust and adapt to change. We are always here if you would like to talk

Thank you so much it's been so hard to get my head around this I have had to give up my job so it's been so stressful

I understand, I lost my job when my health deteriorated. I became very depressed and isolated. It was horrible. You will have good days and bad days, some days you can accept your illness, some days you can be in denial about it all. Whatever you're feeling, it's completely normal

Hi @Adamjhods and welcome to the community. I can only imagine how disorientated you must feel at the moment. If it helps, Epilepsy Action have a list of questions they recommend you ask after you're first diagnosed.
