Hello, my name is Josh, I am 14 years of age which might be pretty unique on this forum seeing as I've only seen adults and the like but never the less we continue. I have Diplegia Cerebral Palsy, which I've had since birth. Life has had its ups and downs so far but that was always inevitable. I am in the process of studying for my GCSEs and so far all seems to be going pretty smoothly. Walking around the school is a challenge especially since its a huge place and its difficult to find my balance and surroundings when in the big crowds. I'll perhaps go into more detail on issues facing my disability on the CP section so anyone interested in maybe offering some advice can find me on there in the future. But for now, I'll be trying to help others best I can and will undoubtedly enjoy my time with Scope, Thank you.

Hello @JoshAdams , a warm welcome to the community. I’m Emma, one of the Community Champions who are here to help and advise. I have CP myself, it’s great to have you with us to share your experiences. I’m going to tag @Richard_Scope Scope’s CP Adviser in case you’d like some advise or perhaps someone to chat to about all things CP.

Hi @JoshAdams - You are most welcome here, & thank you for sharing about yourself, Josh. I don't have CP, but worked with children that had it a long time ago. My middle granddaughter is doing her GCSEs this year, & seems to be taking it in her stride also. It's great to read in one so young that you want to help here in Scope's online community, so thank you for joining us all. I look forward to seeing you around the forum, & reading your input.

Hey @JoshAdams
Apologies for being late to this conversation. I live with CP too and went to a mainstream secondary school. I can remember getting around the place was one of the toughest things. The crowds and the tiredness towards the end of the day. I'm around if you want to talk about stuff.
