I’d like to ask the same question. I have Epilepsy, memory loss and Psychosis and receive PIP.0

HI and welcome,I'm one of the community champions here on scope and i'm here to help and advise others. Only those that are severely mentally impaired are exempt from council tax and to claim this you need your GP to fill out a form. Otherwise all local councils have their own criteria but most have to pay something towards their council tax. I claim PIP and ESA and i have to pay a small amount each month. It also depends on your financial circumstances.

No problem. You maybe entitled to a reduction in your council tax band too but as i advised, you'll need to contact your local council.
